    Unhappy Need Help!

Just a quick question on how many calories I should be eating in a day. I am a 22 year old female that is 5' 2" tall and weighs 122 lbs. I weight lift for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week and do cardio 45 minutes 4 times a week. Right now I am eating around 1800 calories per day but not losing any weight? Should I increase exercise or decrease calories? Thanks for the input!

    Smile typical day

    My typical day would be:

Breakfast: Oatmeal, glass of milk, whole wheat toast
Lunch: Green beans, non-fat yogurt, chicken sandwich
    Snack: Granola bar
Dinner: Lean Cuisine meal and a vegetable

    Thanks for the reply!

not the best diet IMO, If your cutting try to get 12 calories per pound which for you would be roughly 1450. Divide that over 6 meals, and eat at least 1 gram of protein per lb. Now im not sure what type of diet you want to follow, either a ckd or just a simple low carb diet. But you need to ditch the processed foods such as granola bars and lean cuisine. Your training schedule looks alright, I would try to lift 3 days a week and do cardio only 3 days for 30min only, but do the cardio on an empty stomach. Also you may want to look into some thermos.

I don't know why you would want to look into to thermos. Keep it natural since you can; why use chemicals when you don't need to. Jmo

The issue is not how many calories per day you are eating, but what those calories are comprised of....i.e.-are you eating enough protein to sustain lean muscle growth and lose fat.

You may also want to incorporate a fat burner, twice per day to increase fat loss
