Eggs are such a good source of protein it's hard to not pass up, but lately I've been getting tired of eating them every morning (time consuming to cook and I'm not thrilled by the taste after I eat them so often). Any suggestion for something I can switch up in there? I try to not have a shake in the morning and I've only been having one a day at this point, but I might be getting some weight gainer to supplement a meal during the rest of the day if I get tired of cooking five meals a day. Thanks.

Personally I like the shake, but since you dont choose any other lean protein source as your option. Back to the eggs though, have you treid microwaving them, this cuts down on time, and is surprisingly good, I throw about ten egg whites in with one whole egg, and then I mix add some spice, cover with wax paper and bam, there you have it, mixing up sauces also helps
AOK

cold cereal doesn't give you enough protein. carbs, yes. protein, no.
I've eaten tuna, a shake, and eggs for protein sources in the morning. I guess that I just get tired of eating sooo many eggs every day. I'm not terribly fond of them, which i'm sure doesn't help. I try to put pepper on them, and that helps some...but, again it is tiring. Tuna is easy -- right out of a packet. Shake is simple enough, but I try to only have one of those a day and eat more meals of "regular" food.
Cottage cheese...can't force myself to eat it. I need to try, but in my mind I still see curdled milk. UGH.July 27, 2005 - 135lbs
