    Stretch Marks

I am looking to compete at some point in the future, hopefully within the next year, but I was wondering:

--How do people deal with stretch marks? Are they looked at negatively in competition? Does tanning make them unnoticeable?

I have gained size rapidly and have strech marks in my outer pecs and armpits to the top of my biceps that are noticable to the point of people in my gym (a college gym with mostly athlete weight training) asking if I've had double shoulder surgery.

I'd appreciate advice from guys who've competed...I imagine it's a common issue for anyone who gets big rapidly...

I'm not sure, but Protan and Dreamtan may cause them to be less noticeable. Lower body fat may as well. I don't recall ever seeing anyone who was highly shredded with paper-thin skin having noticeable stretch marks on stage.

I have some decent strech marks on my upper quads and glutes. With the protan and dreamtan they are not really noticeable on stage. They also seem to lessen when my bf drops.

    Good Luck!

Stretch marks definitely fade away with losing body fat and tanning. Also try using Barmon Stretch Mark Cream.

I agree with everyone else. Stretch marks tend to fade with tanning and leanness. In fact, even tatoos are less noticeable on a lean and tanned bodybuilder. Keep in mind that the judges are sitting at a table that is several feet in front of, and a couple of feet below where you will be standing. So they are not going to be able to see those types of imperfections like your buddy in the gym who is standing 1 foot away while you are milky white and at your fattest!
    Enjoy the journey!
