I'm Absolute0. I started lifting seriously in August 2006. At that point i had 2 years of on and off experience starting at age 15. Up until August 2006 i had gotten really fat, and had just lost a bunch of weight and regained SOME of my muscle.

I have already written down my weekly progress from October 2006 to January 2007 so i will share it with you. Here it is in a nutshell however:

August 2006

And remember -- for all these dates I am 6'0". I stopped growing a LONG time ago.

Not bad progress. Here is how i got there. The following entries are weekly updates. They don't have all my routine, just the parts i kept track of. I keep track of Bench and Squats because i want those #s to go up, but of course everything else is rising similarly.

Routine used was mostly M/T/Th/F -- Legs/Chest+Shoulders/Back/Arms

Looking bigger, vascularity is definitely on the rise, my forearms are getting really sick when I flex them hard, the veins shoot up. Never been more vascular. Vein is appearing along the top of my right bicep. Muscles feeling harder. Oily skin, always thirsty (note 12/4 thirst was from CellMass). Increased DOMS, my legs are killing me.

Week 4 11/13/2006
Weight 210 to 212
Superpump 250 and CellMass, 2 protein shakes a day @ two scoops each, 3-5 tabs of glutamine (500mg) + 2 tabs BCAAs (1000mg), Centrum, Vitamin C

Steady weight gain, still feeling harder, always thirsty. Bloody nose on Thursday. More veins… one popping up along my calf. Great strength.

Week 5 11/20/2006

Was sick this week, that’s everything sucked. Strength was down. But I kept eating like crazy so thankfully I kept gaining. I am still incredibly thirsty 24/7. I am not looking much more ripped, but my muscles are feeling incredibly hard and I look bigger. Triceps feel awesome.

Week 6 11/27/2006
Weight 214 to 214

Still sick but my strength is holding up miraculously. I noticed that I am getting stretch marks along the top of my biceps. My arms are still covered in stretch marks from my initial gains 4 years ago; this is the first time I’ve ever gotten stretch marks since then. Sickness halted weight gain. Also cycled off cellmass and weight dropped a pound or two. Took 2x liquigels on a few days because I felt too sick and didn’t want to waste my supply of HLG on sickdays.

Week 7 12/4/2006
Weight 214 to 215
Superpump 250, 2 protein shakes a day @ two scoops each, 2 tabs of glutamine (1000mg) + 2 tabs BCAAs (1000mg), Vitamin C, NOW Adam, Novedex XT 2/night

Bench: 255x3, 275x1, 285x1, 225x7

Interesting week. Made a PR on squats but was coughing up my lungs when I was done so only 3 sets of squats. On bench day I was feeling a bit better but failed my 4th rep of 255. So instead of continuing on 255 I went up to 275, got it (pretty easy), and up to 285. 285 was very hard for me but I pushed through and got it, got a nosebleed from it .
My weight fluctuated a lot – starting at 214, I was down to 212 by Thursday. However I finally got over my sickness, my appetite came back, and I ate my way back to 215. The reason the weight dropped like that is twofold. First the sickness had been preventing weight gain and wearing me down… and secondly, cycling off creatine. I’m pissed because I thought the CellMass wasn’t doing anything and the HLG were doing a lot. Turns out the CellMass was doing a lot.
I have one more week with just HLG, no sickness, and fully cycled off CellMass, so I’ll see just what the HLG have done for me.


Week 8 12/11/2006
Weight 215 to 217
Shock Therapy, 2 protein shakes a day @ two scoops each, 2 tabs of glutamine (1000mg) + 2 tabs BCAAs (1000mg), Vitamin C, NOW Adam, Novedex XT 4/night

Squats were awesome. Used a belt and it helped a lot, but I could feel strength was up! Bench was OK. Back was still hurting from last week (did a bad pull) so I skipped deadlifts. It’s nice to finally be gaining some weight, the sickness really messed me up there.

Week 9 12/18/2006
Weight 217 to 219

Deadlift: 275x8 (very bad, going to stop doing deadlifts)
Leg day was very good. Chest day was very disappointing, but I was at the high school weightroom and didn’t like their equipment. My deadlifts suck, it feels like everytime I do them I keep my back from healing. I’m just going to stop. Arm day was good, except for close grip bench sucked, I think it’s because my chest was very sore. I did 90x10 on weighted dips.

Week 11 1/1/2007
Weight 221 to 223

I seriously did like 3 hours of homework yesterday. Discrete math sucks.

Now i'm hanging out between classes. No workout on Tuesdays.


I did want to mention one thing. I think JW is kicking in. I'm on ~day 9. I'm getting a tiny increase in acne, i am pretty sure i'm sweating more. Yesterday i was just sitting shirtless on a chair in the sun and i had sweat dripping down me. And my workouts have been great. I'll be on the lookout for changes.

Currently at school. There is a quiz in discrete math soon. Discrete math isn't very fun. But at least it isn't hard because the class just started.

Very good workout. The JW must be working. I don't usually increase bench by 5 pounds for 3 weeks straight. I get consistent gains but usually not this quick. It was 295, 300, 305. That's a big bench increase. YAY.

I just had to immortalize this conversation with my friend. I'll probably move it eventually. But wow, i was frustrated, because for the last half hour i've been telling this guy EAT EAT EAT, and he's been assuring me that he's been eating more.

This was a totally awesome workout. BB Curls with 135 went from 3 reps to 5 reps. It was great.

CGBP... i've been doing 225/235/245 for MONTHS now, and just last week i completed all 6 reps with 245 and so i moved up 10 lbs this week, AND again completed my reps! Effectively a 10 lb increase in 1 week. It's awesome.

Jungle warfare must be causing this because i never gain so fast. What a frigging awesome supp.

Good news is the pain is going away so it wasn't a serious injury. It's still pretty tender though. I'm going to go lighter on squats next week, and focus on my reps, something like:
295x8, 305x8, 315x8 if i can do it. Staying away from 325+

Bad news is i've caught a sore throat and i'm doing everything i can do get rid of it. Hopefully it won't mess up my bench tomorrow.

I am still sick with a sore throat from yesterday, i feel crappy, however my workout was anything but.

This was a superb workout. I feel like crap pretty much. School has me overwhelmed, i've done so much homework. I've been tired everyday and getting headaches. I honestly don't know whether to attribute this to the JW lethargy or just the frigging school. It's probably both. For whatever reason i now have a sore throat but that hasn't stopped me!

315 on bench was a dream for me not too long ago. Just in mid december i maxed at 285 so we're looking at +30 lbs in about 5 weeks.

It's the Jungle Warfare, stuff is the ****.

Back Day

Sickness was worse than ever today. The sore throat has spawned a runny nose and cough and i feel tired and crappy, not to mention the 24/7 headache. I almost didnt' lift but i forced myself to go.

And that's all i had in me.

When i took Halodrol Liquigels i got sick a few weeks into it, more sick than i usually get, and it took me forever to recover. I think supps that increase Test. weaken your immune system, seriously. A few weeks into JW the same thing happens, instant overnight i go from normal to sick as hell. This is the same time as the headaches kick in, and the same time as the strength kicks in hardcore.

I'm going to discontinue JW use. I love the strength but these headaches are terrible and my sickness is awful. I thought i didn't respond well to supps but i am responding to JW, both in strength and in side effects. Very unanticipated. Food/Water does NOT get rid of the headaches, they are constant and sharp.

I am probably going to just start my cut now, and save the 2nd bottle for later.

Skipped my Saturday workout, too sick

Slowly recovering from my cold. Should be able to lift tomorrow. It has been 3 days since getting off JW and the headaches are only now subsiding.

**I'm actually less sick, but somehow my strength was in the gutter. Absolute worst workout day of 2007. I honestly think the JW gains disappeared. Workout sucked.

Back/Bi Day

226 lbs

No idea why my weight is up, but i'm almost completely better (no longer sick). My workout wasn't great, i still felt weak, but i managed to do some decent weight anyway. My back lifts never fluctuate much at all though.

Not a bad workout, not bad at all.


The trainer in the gym offered us a free BF% test. It's the kind where you step on the scale and it sends an electrical impulse through your body, here are the results:

Personally i think the reading was low, i put myself closer to 18% bf, but whatever, the test was free
