Hi guys..i know this is a very unusal thread but its very important to me, I had sent a txt to my friend who lives in LA but at the time the cell phone was off...if she had turned it back on while she was in England would she have got my txtes that i sent while she was in the US?...and also if i sent a txt now...would she get it or no becoz i didnt send it WHILE she was in the US?...im very sorry again for this thread, I just need to know :-) thanks

Your friend will get the messages when she turns on her phone, I don't think it matters where she is.

If she doesn't turn her cell phone on in so many days, the messages will be deleted. I don't know about you sending her one while she's out of the U.S. Probably depends on your company and your plan.

Thanks Jordan.....see im trying to see if she has her cell with her in England or not. And well if she has it she turned it off..this is my best friend since i was 5 years old. I sent a txt when she got my other txtes i sent WHILE she was in the us..but she didnt get them...Is that becoz I didnt send them while she was in the US?..thanks again!!!

Its important becoz..well its not really important but its important to me. I just recently get accpeted to Tiffin Unv. and that is the only want to reach her. im sorry again becoz i do know this is a stupid thread, Plus I just want to know if it would reach lol..thanks guys for being sweet to me and posting!!!

it might cost more to send texts overseas... she probably is roaming on another carriers service and it will cost both u and her more money...

altho i doubt she has service over there unless she a) changed to an international or local sim card and b) has a quad band phone

When my dad is in inda/dubai/far east on business trip I just txt him. For somereason txt msgs work but calling him doesn't always work. Plus it costs a fortune for international calling. He has a blackberry so idk if it is just his phone or not. My sister is in scotland right now so I'll send her a txt and see if it goes through (no blackberry)

yeah thats what is happening to me too. Thanks a lot guys again for beign sweet, its just important to me....plus im trying to see if she has her cell with her lol...if you have msn addy me and let me konw if she got it lol

also....will she get my txts now that she is in England?.. or she will only get the txtes that i sent while she was IN the us???..sorry this is really bugging me coz i dont know lol

She should receive the txts anytime a tower syncs with her phone. It will alert her provider with the information and location of the phone. Once this happens all msgs in the system will be routed to her phone via an international carrier. Granted most international carriers all run on GSM networks with sim cards so her phone might not even be able to communicate with a tower over there.

haha true... she might be getting them but doesn't like you so she might not be responding. I doubt that though haha
