Suggestions on What Foods to Take/Kept at Work
I am looking for suggestions and ideas on what foods people take and keep at work. I'm not talking about lunch. I mean snacks and such. The refrigerator at my new job is too small to keep things in there, even though it does seem underutilized. I was thinking standard things like almonds, cheese sticks, low GI fruits (high GI food gives me too many problems). I'm also concern about spoilage, if I do keep things at the desk.
So, any ideas, suggestions?
And FYI - I'm bulking, so calorie-dense foods are fine.

hard boiled eggs, theyre small enough to keep in the fridge. other stuff that dont really need to be refrigerated: nuts, tuna in pouches/cans. maybe breads (whole wheat), natural peanut butter, oats--but ur gonna need milk.

I keep cooked oats in the fridge at home in little 1 cup plastic containers, usually have up to 6 at a time in there. Whenever I make oats, I make 2 serves, eat one and put the other in the fridge. They keep a long time. Then I just grab one and take it to work. It's not the sort of thing you can store at work, but it keeps well for a day out of the fridge. You can heat it up in the microwave or just eat it cold if you like that sort of thing. I don't bother with the milk. If I want to make it a bit more interesting put some berries on top. All depends on what you like! I know for some people the thought of oats like that is not that appetising.

I take oats individually packed in plastic tupperwear bowls for easy microwaving - 2-3 servings a day. I also take bananas, chicken rice and nuke it up.....

Don't forget, you can always bring your own cooler and keep perishable thngs at your desk - also prevents the likelyhood that you look over across the office and see one of your co-workers munching on the string cheese you brought .
