"As you know bb'ing takes time, so even though you thought your 60 lbs would be as big as you'd get, now that your there, you realise you can do more. Its a good thing. It keeps you progressing and getting better. Be proud of how far you've come, and from that, be motivated about how much further you can go."

maltodextrin is just a simple sugar, best used with your protein post workout, as it replaces the sugar u've burned...eg carbs

In small ammounts, it does nothing, so I don't really understand why so many supps have it in small ammounts unless it is being used to bind things together. Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate, so it is slower digesting than simple sugars. This is helpful because it supplies your body with a steady stream of nutrition rather than the ruch and the resulting crash that you would get from consuming just sugar. It makes an excellent postworkout suppliment because, if taken in large enough ammounts, it will replenish muscle glycogen lost during your workout. Twinlab Ultra Fuel is a good Maltodextrin suppliment if you are interested in getting a pure carb suppliment.

also works as a protein transporter, taken postworkout with protein, spikes insulin levels and helps promote uptake of the amino acids from the protein into the cells of the muscle...in short, increases protein uptake efficiency
