those goals are probably setting you up for failure, adding 30 lbs of muscle in a year is not going to happen
Just work as hard as you can and what you get is what you get"Live like a bad son of a bitch and let's play some ball"

ya but you have 185 lean lbs, if you want to be a lean 240, say 240@11%, you need 214 lean pounds; so no, it's 30
You seem like you're somewhat new to everything and it would suck to see you set a goal, not reach it, and quit; it happens all the time because people think it's all too easy. Granted I've been at it seriously for about 4 years, but 10 lean pounds in a year is about what I get, 30 would take some extreme genetics and probably juice.
^^^2 lbs of muscle per month is not realistic. If it were it would take 4 years to add 100 lbs of muscle, we'd all be running around 250@8%"Live like a bad son of a bitch and let's play some ball"

Especially if he is new, 2lbs a month is an extremely reasonable goal. I think 30 lean lbs is achievable in a year, with hard work. Hell, I've gained 15-20lbs in 4 months, with less than 1.5-2lbs of that being fat.
I do think 30lbs lean mass is hard, but if you cut and destroy as much fat and as little muscle as you can, I think a 230lbs at 10% is achievable.
Bulk, let's say until 245-250, then cut after that down to 230ish.

haha ok, well then as long as everybody gets after it, in 5 years everybody should have at least 250 lean pounds. Serious lack of respect to natural pros.

Hmm, are you me? Did you see my bodyfat recording before and after? It's funny how you can tell me flat out that I gained so much fat, when infact I gained less than 2lbs of fat. I think some people just have serious problems with their gains and how pitiful they are. My diet is flawless, and my work is amazing, and my gains prove it.
You guys read an article off of T-nation.com and you automatically believe it because it's well laid out. This isn't even a study, it's some no-name's opinion. Sure, the idea is great and the whole post has some value, but nothing scientific.
