I worked out in a small gym in florida and he is a trainer there. He doesn't look anything like he did but he is actually a very nice person. Very helpful with people needing training advice.

That was a nice read from T-Nation. Thanks.
I met Mighty Mike in the early '90's at some of my competitions where he was guest posing. In fact, I have some home video of him with my best friend posing. I could not believe how big his arms were!
I always felt his downfall was when the WWF tried to do "their thing" with some of the top pro bodybuilders. The contests were fixed, so most of the guys were terribly out of condition (Mike was one of them). Gary Strydom was supposed to be winner, so he would come in ripped...Competitive Natural Bodybuilder

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.

Yeah, that was a pretty good read from T-Nation. It's interesting to hear about what goes on that you don't know about. Mike was the favorite of my friends back in the late 80s/early 90s when I was in high school and I recorded some of him on that old show American Muscle Magazine. I thought he was pretty cool. I was also more into the pros and knowing who they all were back then more than I am now. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy seeing some of the pros like Ronnie or Jay but it's not the same. Back then I knew who all the guys were but it's different today.
Fitness - if it came in a bottle, everybody would have a great body.

Possible Fake Mighty Mike Quinn
There is a "Mighty Mike Quinn" that works at a radio station (Q94.5) down in McAllen, Texas. If it is the same Mike Quinn than he put on a gut and an extra chin. And he has himself posted as "Mighty Mike Quinn" at Wikipedia.com (the Radio Show guy) with no mention of ever being a bodybuilder. Now I wonder if he is breaking any copyright or trademarking laws with the nickname Mighty Mike Quinn, if he isnt the bodybuilder.

T-Nation: It seems like you and the other guys from the 80’s had a lot of fun competing. Were you all friendly with each other?
MQ: It was a fun time. We were like comrades because we saw each other so much. The only guy who was hard to get to know was Richie Gaspari. He was stressed out all the time.Beast
