Dymatize ISO-100
Fuzzy Navel
Mixability:
Instant. I used about 8 oz of water and I full scoop and after a several stirs for 5 seconds it was completely disolved.
Taste:
I was very pleased with the taste. I noticed more orange than anything. It had a very smooth, creamy kind of taste to it.
Overall:
This is one of the cheaper isolates available. I will definately be using it again.

You'll love the Substance WPI Watermelon. It's one of the best tasting proteins on the market.
Matrix has also been getting rave reviews. Good luck with them all.

PrimaForce Substance WPI
Watermelon
Mixability:
Instant. I used about 8 oz of water and I full scoop and after a several stirs for 5 seconds it was completely disolved.
Taste:
Good taste, I actually thought is was going to be a little better. Reminds me of a jollyrancher.
Overall:
This is also cheaper compared to Gf Pro or Nectar. Probably won't purchase this again bc I would rather try out some of the other flavors by GF Pro or Nectar.

Matrix MAY be a decent daytime protein......optimized for night it is not.

Try the Fuzzy Navel, Twisted Cherry, and Latte Nectar flavors. A lot of people like these flavors best.

Dymatize Elite Whey
Cafe Mocha
Mixability:
Mixed very well with a spoon or shaker.
Taste:
I really liked this flavor. It has a strong coffe kind of taste, which is alot different than anything I have had. I mixed it with water, milk, and in my homemade MRPs and it worked great.
Overall:
9/10
I have began to prefer this much better than ON. I used ON for almost 3 years and have made the switch to Dymatize Elite. I will be using this again.

Designer Nutrition Sustain
Peanut Butter Fudge
Mixability:
Very easy to mix with a spoon or shaker. Dissolved very well.
Taste:
I really liked this taste. It is almost something to look forward to. I always mixed it with milk or in a homemade MRP. It really made my MRPs taste incredible which includes ground oats, natural PB, banana, skim milk, and sustain.
Overall:
10 / 10
This is a great pre-bed protein blend with a great profile. It is kinda pricey, but if you have the money it is worht it IMO. I will purchase this again.

ON Gold Standard Whey
Rocky Road
Mixability:
One of the easiest proteins to mix. Completely dissolves w/ no clumps.
Taste:
7 / 10
Taste was good. I had just finished chocolate by ON and I thought it was better. Taste was best in milk.
Overall:
8 / 10
ON whey is a great, affordable protein supplement. I used it for almost 3 years and have gone through many flavors. One major thing I did notice though was when I made the switch to Dymatize I had much less gas.

Thanks for taking the time and money to try all of these proteins. I have been thinking about adding a caesin (SP) protein to my supplement list and am now going to try the sustain. Thanks again. Danny

Dymatize ISO-100
Fuzzy Navel
Mixability:
Instant. I used 2 scoops with about 12 oz of water and it mixed very well.
Taste test #2:
This time the taste was much stronger. I would recommend 1 scoop with 6oz or or 2 with 12oz, as this tasted miuch better than my first use. I don't notice much of a peachy taste, but it has a good creamy orange taste to it.
Price/Serving:
5 lber
$0.49 per 24g protein.
Overall:
This is one of the cheaper isolates available. I will definately be using it again, might try another flavor.

PrimaForce Substance WPI
Watermelon
Mixability:
Instant. This time I used 2 scoop in 12 oz water. mixed completely with ease.
Taste Taste #2:
Wow, this stuff tastes amazing! I used too much water last time. Almost like a liquid jolly rancher, but not as sweet. It left a very good aftertaste in my mouth also. i will definately be looking forward to my post workout shake with this.
Price/Serving:
2 lber
$0.67 per 22g protein.
Overall:
This is also cheaper compared to Gf Pro or Nectar. Not sure if I will purchase again, bc there are so many other flavors I would like to try.

iSS Micellar Matrix
Chocolate
Mixability:
Mixed good with a spoon. Some small chunks, but it didn't bother me. Not a problem in a shaker.
Taste:
Taste is very good in milk. Kind of like a thick milk shake. I used it alot pre-bed and in my MRPs.
Price/Serving:
2.47 lber
$0.77 per 25g protein.
Overall:
With micellar casein as the first ingrediant I feel this is a great pre-bed/night protein. I will be using this again.

Syntrax Matrix 5.0
Chocolate
Mixability:
Mixes good with a spoon. There is some some chunks left over floating on top, but it did not bother me. With a shaker it mixes competely with no problem
Taste:
I have been using this protein alot during work. I mix it with 1/2 cup ground oats and water, and it taste really good. I have also used it before bed with milk. For some reason I think it taste better with water instead of milk.
Price/Serving:
5.24 lber
$0.41 per 23g protein.
Overall:
This is a great tasting protein blend. I works great for me during work and I will definately purchase it again.

I still don't understand this "night time" reference to most protein blends. A blend is superior to any whey anytime of the day, even after a workout. People forget that there is alot of whey in a blend too, so you still get the fast absorbing effects of whey even if you take it as a blend after a workout. A blend is giving you the benefits of whey plus a whole lot more.

I agree. The only time I use a WPI is post workout otherwise I would prefer to use a blend any other time of the day. My blend of choice is BSN Syntha-6... Great stuff.

Dymatize Elite Whey:
Chocolate Mint
Mixability:
Mixes very easily with a spoon.
Taste test:
Now I am not really a bif fan of anything that is chocolate mint, but this stuff is good. I tastes very similar to those little Alpine mint bars. I actually look forward to using this stuff. I mix it in 6-8 oz water.
Price/Serving:
5 lber
$0.34 per 22g protein.
Overall:
This is a great whey proteinand I will definately be using it again.
