I have always been a bad sleeper (having trouble falling asleep, waking up too early and not being able to get back to sleep, etc.), but I know that getting a good, restful night's sleep is crucial to building up maximum muscle mass. I sleep much better now than I have in long time with the following supplement stack: ZMA, melatonin, valerian root, 5-HTP. I know this stack sounds ridiculous and expensive, but it gets the job done. I am not necessarily recommending this to anyone, but people with sleeping problems should consider trying these suplements, and maybe even taking 2 or 3 at the same time. I can say from personal experiece that all these supplements are effective to some extent, especially if used together.

Hey, wassup guys
So, I'm going on a business travel for five days. MY hotel has a gym, which is great.
However, I'm going to be out all day, leaving early, and only comeback to the hotel late at night. Meaning: it's pretty much hotel-work-hotel-sleep-repeat.
I will not get that much time to sleep, though, which kind of raises a question. Is it ok if I cut on my sleep (from 6/7 hours to 4/5 hours) so I can get up earlier and go to the gym? I can easily do this, but I don't know whether I'll be damaging my (still few) gains or not...
What would you recommend? (also, I don't take pre workout suplements, but is it ok if I take some pre workout supplements with me, take them and go straight to the gym? It would be easier to carry than bananas lol)
Thanks!

I cant say brah. But personally, I wouldn't use a sleep aid more than a few weeks long max. My go to is benedryl/zyzzquil 25mg, its the only thing I've found that will actually put me the fk out and make me feel like I slept great. Melatonin does the reverse effect to me, v-root didn't do chit, zma i didn't really notice either.

Melatonin in combination with extract of Lemon Balm works fantastic for me. It's a supplement here in Germany: http://www.greendoc.de/schneller-einschlafen
I've tried Melatonin separately, but it seemingly had no effect. Could be that there was no Melatonin in the pills.
As far as "non natural" stuff goes, Doxylamine Succinate is awesome, and as little as 10 mg is enough to make me drowsy.
Valerian Root never does anything for me.
Magnesium can make you somewhat relaxed before bedtime as well. Not drowsy, just relaxed.
