Hi, I"m a female, 26 years old, 5'7" and 125 lbs. My body fat is about 15% and I am training for my first Figure Competition this spring. I have seen significant changes in my body since I began working out hard core and dieting. However, I cannot seem to lose that little "pooch" right below my belly button. The area is "hard", not soft like fat so I don't know what is up. I train my abs 3xweek and do about 30-60 min of cardio 6x a week. Any ideas or suggestions? I have a male bodybuilding friend who says not to worry, it will drop off before I know it--but it's been several weeks and still there! I hate it! Thanks for the help!

Right now my diet consists of about 1700 calories, 200 g. protein (chicken, turkey, egg whites mostly), and 125 g. carbs (rice, oatmeal, green veggies). The only time it has been really flat is when I basically cut carbs out completely. I don't want to do that right now--I've heard I need about my bodyweight in carbs when I'm training this hard. I don't really keep up with my sodium intake but I would guess it's fairly low--I eat pretty clean.
