I did a search for the article you're talking about and found this one only it's not by big cat. Actually Big Cat said that glutamine is not absorbed when bulking. Unfortunately he never responded as to why so I don't know.

I have had people take on the upwards to 60 grams a day. this can get expensive after awhile. I guess I would just experiment and see how much you may personally need.

I use 20 grams per day.

I don't think there is a need for it when bulking; although others will debate this.

I have seen a few articles on another forum that say Glutamine doesnt even survive the digestion process through the gut. Make your own mind up I guess but that would make it one big waste of money!

Look at my sig, sourced and good information.
Glutamine doesn't do anything orally ingested.

    Glutamine is good

Its a staple for me & I take anywhere from 10-20 extra grams a day. People can say whatever they want but it's s great supplement to take & it works or it wouldn't be so damn popular for such a long time. Awesome for recovery

    Strong bump.

I'm sure people were taking all of their glutamine advice from these 3+ year old threads that it was worth updating all of them
