Hi guys How long should a bulking or cutting phase be. Is it best to keep them short, say 2-3 months each or is it best to keep them longer ie 4-5 months? Also ive only been training nearly 10 months now, and ive put on about a stone of weight, and quite a lot of muscle. IS it time i start hitting the cardio seriously and losing that fat that ive accumulated.?

Chest 40 inch (PAthetic)
CAlves 15 inch (never trained them-started training 3 months ago)
Legs (ONly started training them 3 months ago)
Waist 35 (i think thats way too big
