When it comes to lifting, you don't succeed until you fail!

Regular deads work more of the muscles I'm interested in. Only reason I used to do Sumo is to lift lots of weight. (shorter distance to lift)

    Both.

I am naturally a better sumo puller because of how I'm built. Thus, I can pull more sumo.

However, conventional pulls are a great supplemental lift to pull more sumo because they help strengthen the lower back moreso than sump pulls do, at least for my build.

My body is better suited for pulling with sumos. It is easier to maintain a neutral position of the lower back, for me.

I'm the opposite, my body's more suited to pulling sumo - short arms, long torso and legs but I still pull conventional as i've gotten used to the movement after a long time doing it.
