Got a female friend about 50yrs old. She doesn't have an ACL. Never got it replaced and just strengthened the supporting muscles years and years ago(15+yrs).
She wants to start a workout program, but I don't know what leg routines that will help or hurt her.
Suggestions welcome
Thanks

No ACL, need leg exercises

Well, I haven't had a PCL for about 8 years, and I can do pretty much any leg exercise pain free. I do full squats, leg presses, leg extensions, etc. I do all of these exercises in a $1000 CTI2 knee brace just to be safe, however.
Probably best to check with a physical therapist beforehand.Intermediate 5x5 Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=974394
