I am 29 years old, 250lbs and approximately 27% bodyfat.
I am trying to find the right combo to lose the fat and keep the muscle. How much cardio is too much per day? Week? Also any diet suggestions that one doesn't have to pay for would be nice.
Thanks for your help and support in advance.

um
umm you really dont look 27% maybe in the high 10's, low 20's.
and im no expert in cut diets so your gonna have to ask someone about it, but here are some tips to minimize muscle lost??
work out to maintain muscle 2-3 times a week. (you will not see huge gains when your cutting, but hey, atleast youll lift the same after cutting 30 pounds ! sometimes even more)
eat less calories then you burn ( to lose the fat )
(try 200-500 calories deficit first few weeks)
no carbs after 7pm
eat 6 meals
do cardio often as you can.
theres my tips, hope I helped out a bit, the rest you will need more replies and ask more people.

Make sure you don't lose weight too fast. Keep carbs moderately high. Eat clean foods. Lift heavy for low reps. I also recommend you don't do more cardio than 30 minutes 5 times a week but doing more has worked for some.
