Argh, what do I do?!
I'm nearly 5 weeks into cutting and I'm struggling. I haven't touched any alcohol in this time and my friends are all out this weekend.. God knows I could do with getting drunk! I know I can minimise the damage by having the alcohol as my cheat meal and sticking to straight spirits/diet mixers but I just don't know
Half of me is saying to stay on track and stick it out.
But the other half of me is telling me I'm going to collapse if I keep holding out like this.. plus I'm not training to compete in the Olympia.. just be healthy.
My problem is I'm a perfectionist. At the start of the cut I acknowledged that I would indeed get drunk a few times during my cutting but now I'm here, I just feel like it's a failed cut if I do (which is ridiculous).
Oh what do I do?

Slow going
Hello everyone! Time for my weekly update. Weight only this week as I only do BF% every two weeks.
Start: 1 Jan 07: 185lbs
Now 16 Feb 97: 175lbs
Only lost a pound this week, so it is a little slow going, but it is kinda of what I am looking for. Hope everyone else is keeping the course! Take care!

weight: 225.5 (+.5lbs)
LBM: 189.5 (+1.175lbs)
fat: 36 lbs (-.675 lbs)
neck: 16.5in
chest: 42.6in
bicep:14.25
forearm: 12.75
Stomach: 38.4
Quad:22.5
Calf: 17
Gained weight but lost fat so I am pretty damn happy about that. I wish these were my stats every week8 WK CUT!

Today was my first weigh-in in the last 2 weeks since I didn't have access to a scale last weekend. I weighed in at 269.2 lbs this morning, which is down about 6 lbs in the past 2 weeks. Everything is going pretty well so far! Also, I measured my body fat tonight at about 26%, down from 27.5% when I first started the contest(I measured myself using the electronic calipers from bb.com so I'm sure there is a little error.) Hope everyone is still doing well!

balls, I weighed myself after another week and my weight still hasn't budged in 2 weeks! This is getting stupid.. I must either be missing calories somewhere (which I doubt) or my body is getting too used to my routine.
I think I'm gonna drop my cals even more and see what happens.. sigh this is so frustrating!

Weight: 158.2lbs.
Bodyfat: 13.5%.
Think my bodyfat is going to go up. I cheated on The Cut Diet. I ran 12 miles yesterday and had some oatmeal to replenish the glycogen storage. Didn't feel too hungry or fatigued aftwards. However today, after 1 hour of lifting and 30 minutes of cardio today, I was hungry like a beast. I devoured any clean food in sight. I think it was around 800 calories. My first "cheat" meal in 7 weeks. I went on 2500 calorie then slash down to 2000 calorie intake. I lifted almost everyday followed by at least 45 minutes of cardio.
I scarfed down:
1 Cup of Kashi Cereal
1 Cup of Skim Milk
1/2 Cup of Oatmeal
1 Apple
1 Pear
1 Banana
3oz Yam
30g Walnuts
1 Tbsp PB
1.5 Slice of Naan Bread (360 calories, sheesh)
4 oz of Chicken Breast
4 oz of Lean Beef
- Synthetic54

I hope it's not too late to join in.
I'm cutting my bulking diet by one week (I'm just tired of eating and tosave some dough).
I will be cutting: Monday, Feb 26th to Monday May 7th (11 week cycle).
Plus that's the week of my birthday and I most likely will celebrate. I will see how good my results are by then and either cycle on until June or just maintain.

quick update... not a good one
F'ing flu season.... I was doing well since my last post, down 3% BF and going strong. I decided to treat myself to a night out of drinking with my buddies and got bit by the flu bug... I was out for 3 days of work and havent worked out since. This was on the 13th. I have been feeling better lately and am going to attempt to workout tonight to see how I feel. I havent weighted myself since my last weigh in at 221, but ill wait until this coming sunday to do so.
