Exclamation Most effective way to force muscle growth..

What is the most effective way to gain muscle? Is the less you rest between sets better so that the muscle has less time to recover? Is it true that the more repetiotions I do in one set the better (lifting a weight which I normally would lift 8 rep.) I want to train hard..should I show any mercy at all to my muscles?

I think that the most effective way to stimulate muscle growth is to overload the muscle. Lift heavy 3-4 set of 6-8 reps. And to failure. This way the muscle won't have a choice to grow to lift that heavy. And always increase the weight when possible.

I rest at least 1 min between sets because you are lifting heavy so if you don't rest enough you won't be able to complete your next set. You can take 1-3 minutes..

    And eat enough protein..

    Good luck!

Thanks Helene, I needed to know that. That's exactly how I train.
