Nitro Off-Road

Me and some friends of mine are getting into r/c off-road racing. I want an off-road truck (not sure if i want stadium or monster-truck) that will go fast (atleast 40 mph), and that I can drive over all kinds of terrains. As of now, i'm considering the Traxxas Jato and hte HPI Savage 4.6 SS. The Jato is a little cheaper, but my concern is that I won't be able to drive the Jato over all kinds of terrains since it is a little lower to the ground, while the HPI can definitely take any terrain i throw at it. The only reason i'm even considering the Jato is because of the fact that it's cheaper and that it's faster. I already have a remote control, so the fact that the HPI doesn't bring one isn't a problem. My budget is around $400.

Got a Savage SS. Have not driven it in about 2 years. it's almost new!

no offense or anything, but i'd prefer to buy it new with the warranty and all that junk. plus, this shop next to the dorms is pretty cheap when it comes to r/c cars. that being said, what did you think about the truck?

Um.........I didn't mean that I was selling. I think it's the best MT out there.
It came in parts. I built it myself. Some of the best fun I ever had!
