talk about you job
I would be very happy too see what other people do
I study in Alexandria, but in winter i work on the Rosa Bianca. The Rosa Bianca is nile cruise ship. I do that 3 months a year and in that time i have not much contact too my family and friends. Only on weekend.
The ship is located in Luxor and monday come our guests and 21 o clock wetook them all into the lounge and our travel leader Mrs Simon tell them evrything they must know about egypt. After that we took them all and go direct into Luxor. Many are bit nevous, because they are first time in egypt, but after few minutes they start too lough and have fun. Before our guests leave the ship i take from evryone the passport, so we know, if somebody has been lost. My job is too make the people happy. I organize funny events and i go with the room service. My job there is too build a little surprise for our guests. While our guests are not on board, my comrades clean and i make funny animals out towels. Evry day another. So someday they come in a towel ape hang on their light in the room.
On Thuesday we still are in Luxor. The people visist Kranak and Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings. While the travel leade tell them about that things, i buy tickets and make pictures. At evening the ship start too next city. The people have dinner i build their towel pets and have my weightlift training of course.^^
Next morning we arrive normaly Edfu and then the Guest go with Horses too Horus temple there. My job there is too make pictures of evry guest infront of Horus. The evenning guest are on ship i do my weightlifttraining and towel animals of course^^
Thursday we visist at evening Temple in Kom Ombo. I normally stay there on ship and help organisation.
Friday we arrive in Aswan, visit the Dam, nubian village, isis temple and Abu Simbel.
Then it go back too Luxor with short stop in Esna. Back in Luxor, the guests go at night into Karnak temple and see a fantastic light show.
Saturady i have with my family.
For me it is great job, because i meet many many nice people from all over the world, mostly europe and USA. I have much freedom and can do my training very well.
This time i´m very happy because there are two nice children from USA. 12 and 14 years old. I played 3 hours table tennis with them and we shot 8 balls into the nile^^
I hope it wasn´t boring for you all and i would be happy when you tell me what you do

Full time college student during the semsters, and during the weekends I stock shelves at a large grocery store. Not a bad job but very repetitive and monotonous. Pays well though and benefits so not bad at all I guess

I sell network technology to all Federal/state/county/city establishments, been doing that for about 7 years now.
I've thought about changing jobs to a cruise ship, that would be sweet, plenty of women, and 6 months or so to save mad amounts of money.
Kick ass bodyspace pic...Now, is that you flexing with the medal...Or are you the kid in the background LOL! Nah seriously though.

I work at a doctor's office essentially writing up orders for patient's eyeglasses, performing adjustments for their frames, repairing their frames, placing orders to the lab, and take payment/input payments into the computer.
And yes, I'm NOT a certified optician, but I DO work with one. All technical questions I have relating to what type of lens to use and what not will be directed toward him.
Not a bad job at all considering I'm still in school and have 2 years left until I graduate.

I'm a language teacher in a high school in Brussels, Belgium. Most of our students are children of immigrants and don't know any french when they arrive. We have about 65 different nationalities mainly from Africa, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe. After one year of intense french they have to go back to the mainstream classes. that's when I get them to teach them English, German or Dutch which is the one of the two national languages in Belgium.
It's a nice job because you get to know young people of many different countries and cultures, but it's very demanding because most of them don't know much french and it's hard for them to learn other languages at the same times, especially for those who had to follow their parents here but don't plan to stay afterwards and are sometimes reluctant to learn other languages they think will never help them. Up to now I still haven't had anyone from Egypt. And though I have travelled a lot through Europe for european school projects and exchanges and in the US , I have never seen Egypt and would like to be on one of these Nile cruises someday.
Amunra,
When do you train when you work on those cruises? Is there a gym on the way or any possibility to work out on the boat or at weekends ?

Test engineer. I develop test equipment for an electronics manufacturing facility. Its stable, good hours, and pays pretty well. On the downside, there is no exercise involved (pc/desk/bench work), and it is not the kind of job that will get a guy laid.
