You, and only you, big D
Can't believe it's been this long since coming around here and how much motivation and results I've lost over the last year or so. So I'm back to get working again! So many new faces here to offer more motivation.
Anyhoo on another note, which one of you guys were art of the couple arrested in Dominica on that gay cruise? Hehe

Good workout this am...!
Getting my strength back from the layoff from Bronchitis last month....
Going to have a lot of time to work out this next month...we're down a manager on my floor, and the other manager is going to Greece for a couple of weeks....means more late shifts for me, which isn't great for my social life, but it is really good for my workout schedule, so I guess there's your silver lining.....

Depends on the situation.
In my current one, X person would most likely be a liability in me being outed to my family. Each step would have to be taken carefully. Making sure the person is gay or bi, revealing that I'm attracted to them, etc. Whereas the random sex opportunities are typically out-of-towner one-nights, there's no risk there whatsoever. So in that ase, I'd keep up the random sex until I'd gottn to the point of being comfortable with the X person both as a friend, as a romantic interest, and sexually.
In an ideal situation, i.e. living in a big enough town where I don't have to worry about the 'everyone knows everyone' annoyance, I'd most likely be able to approach X person with more confidence and directness, so the opposite holds true."Do you have an erection, man?"
"I just broke a personal record on deadlift."
"And now I have an erection."

You're so silly. This isn't a place to come for motivation for bodybuilding. Whatever gave you that idea? This is where you scream at the top of your lungs about how fabulous you are and share stories about rolling at circuit parties and general debauchery surrounding the excesses of gay culture...specifically the subculture of shallowness. So get with the program!

You are still young yet!
WoW...It has been a while. Welcome back.
I wouldn't trust it..I mean the hunger games scares me!
It might be. Time to baby it. I don't know what you are doing for a leg routine but you might want to switch to lunges in the future.
I am proud of myself. I actually purchased moisturizer. I figure I am over the 30 so I better do something. I think I will look like a bad waxed doll though.

I flew to Pittsburgh for work on Monday and ended up having to drive a company vehicle back...
Pittsburgh to Columbus to Cincinnati to Lexington to Bowling Green, KY where I spent the night, to Nashville to Birmingham to Hattiesburg to home
Can't even tell y'all how good it feels to be home! 18 hours later

My opera premieres in eleven hours from now. Terrified. excited, nervous... I've got 'em all. Doing an ordinary show is one thing. Writing an entirely new show and performing it for the first time is something else. We've had a good production, lots of support, and loads of publicity, and the cast is pretty good. My only real concern is my bass character, who figures so importantly in the show but he's hardly in it. If his counting is off (and it usually is), he could cause a train wreck twice in the same song. He's just unpredictablol, and it's hard to anticipate what is going to happen. But the others should be able to make up for it.
I'll bring back some photos and hopefully *good* news. Do not wish me "good luck" - say "Break a leg". I can't take any chances.
Just wanted to share with you.

Thanks Rick. I did the next-best thing: I broke one of the tables while setting up. It was a cheap dollar-store table with three legs and a corkboard back. I put the centerpiece on it and it collapsed, breaking the table and the vase's bottom. Water everywhere. I mad as hell. But it's all set up.
Now my douche bass is behind schedule and probably won't show up from Chicago until the last minute, making the rest of us look bad and unprepared. I don't know what I'll do if he's not with us. T-minus 5 hours. Oh crap...

The opera was a fair success. It was certainly one of my higher turnouts, but not very profitable. I made my investment back, and enough to pay the bills of the show, and that's pretty much it. The performance was fine. My bass showed up before the curtain, so stress was relieved considerably. And exactly as predicted, he nearly killed both of the numbers in which he participated. My piano skills were not up to the mark either - I was so tired I couldn't concentrate and some *really* bad fingerings popped up in the most unexpected places. Still, the audience laughed a lot and applauded every song. We even took an encore near the end - some in the audience demanded the encore! I got some good photos, but I won't post them here. Just look up "Lindarella's List" on google, and it will eventually come up in the results.
I told my bass the next day that his involvement with the company was terminated. He's too much hassle and expensive, and not worth all the trouble he creates. He had the same ideas, so it was a friendly parting of ways. But happily, my company achieved another success. Now I can finally rest, and give Jessie a little more attention.
