Which is better to incorporate with weightlifting in order to cut body fat but minimize muscle loss at the same time? I've been getting different answers from different sources--I've read somewhere that high-intensity cardio catabolizes your muscles, while a different fitness article said that lower-intensity cardio such as jogging makes your upper body muscles have a more "shrinked" appearance.

Hey man. I personally love HIIT. Ive done both steady state and HIIT and found better results with HIIT. Personal preference though everyone is different.
Everything you need to know about HIIT right here is in Jim Stoppanis HIIT article just search it at the top (cant post links under 30 posts)
Of course thats only one side of the argument but still I like HIIT better
