What is your best advice for hitting the gym hard without taking a pre-workout?
Is there anything You can take that is not a STIM but will help a pre-workout focus, etc?
I think its time for me to finnally say i need to cycle off, but I've been pushing and pushing it saying all I need is the next best or new pre-workout supplement on the market, when all I need to do is cycle off.
I'm worried that cycling off the pre-workout will make my workouts less intense and that I'll lose focus because of alot of running thoughts that go thru my head during waking hours.
Any Advice helps. Since I'm limited on giving out Rep, I'll do my best to give out as much as possible.

Just use a stim-free pre, cue up some Justin Beiber on the iPod, grab yourself by the balls, and go smash. I recommend Hemavol, Green Bulge, or decaf RagNOrok as great stim-free options.

i'd say your best bet is just to suck it up and take a break from them. I'm just finishing 6 weeks off after consistently using cocktail of stims for the last year.
During the 6 weeks i only drank a coffee once, about a week ago, and it really hit me.
A coffee used to do nothing for me, and now i cant wait to see what my pre workouts will do.
also, failing that, there is Revamp and reset AD; supps that are supposed to decrease stim tolerance, dont know for sure how effective they are though.

I've honestly been taking Assault for about 10 weeks straight. srs, and have not had to cycle off.
If you really need to cycle off, just take a few weeks off and try your damned best to just forget the fact that you're cycling off and go back to the glory days. Like posters above said there are plenty of stim free PWO.
The only risk you take is that some PWO have other stuff in it as well that your body might miss. Im not sure what exactly you're taking, but some products contain: creatine, BCAA's, and vitamins that you will have to compensate for. Just my 2 cents.~~~International Sports Science Association Certified Fitness Trainer~~~

Im taking Muscletech Cell-tech for creatine, I've cycled it and about to cycle off again. Muscletech's Cell-tech stuff really works very well. I notice major changing of my body when I'm on it. It really helps with strength too. I hate cycling off it because I get weaker.
I take a mutli vitamin every other day. I don't like to overload my system with vitamins, because I eat plenty of greens and good food.

The biggest problem with taking Ultima when cycling off pre workouts is that you are in line for a huge disappointment lol. If you were taking something like Jack3d or 1mr for a long period of time, Ultima will literally do nothing for you. The best advice is to suck it up, and just hit the gym. We all have to go through that 4 week off cycle of pre workouts after 8 weeks of using it, and it SUCKS lol. Its the only thing I hate about working out

It's only a couple of weeks, 4 at the most if you plan on cycling off for that long. I use Purple Wraath as my stim-free pre/intra and it helps for sure and there are a A LOT of stim-free pre-workout options out there.
Also eating a carb-rich meal 30 mins. to an hour before working out can help with energy.Peace and the Third World War: gnosticteachings.org/books-by-samael-aun-weor/the-social-christ/692-peace-and-the-third-world-war.html

My experience
I just finished 8 weeks on DS Craze (lemon berry), and am currently at the end of week 2 of my 4 week cycling off period. For me, I choose NOT to use any stim-free products, because some still have caffeine or active ingredients in them that can be found in PWO's that you are cycling off from, also I didn't want to waste money on something that might not even work or ruin the whole plan. Yeah it sucks at first, especially on leg days when you need that extra push, but it really isn't that bad. Tests you for your real strength!!
Just focus on your nutrition, your body's natural pre-workout, for that makes all the difference. If you plan meals properly, your body will be fueled to workout regardless of extra help. Use this period to really focus on that aspect, because making your body get used to eating right and just working out will allow your next PWO to kick in even harder than ever!
But, if you really feel like you need something to help in this cycling off time, I recommend green tea( de-caffeinated). May not give you the rush or pump that you are missing, but will keep high levels of energy that will allow you to make it through the workout just fine.

Good to hear!
Glad you like it, But there is no need to cycle off and on.
You can take 1 scoop per day everyday for results after you're saturated.
As for your original question, Honestly...
You just need to man-up. I know it's hard, but just man up its only a few weeks.Kick.com/beetoxic
