Look at you using my current squat weight on your DE day. Nice work! So since you're doing TM you have a Volume Day, recovery day, and intensity day?

Nice speed work on the squats......225 is a good weight to be moving fast. Cool work throwing in that 8 rep set at the end. You're making me feel guilty --- I think I need to do some speed and plyo work but the flesh is weak
Those hack squats are strong as well
Good work"Better to wear out than rust out!"

Deadlift 190kg/418lbs

Yeah, I figure I can't gain much, if any, muscle in a deficit so I might as well focus on strength from neural adaptations.
Lol, ty! I need to change the name of this log. I'm actually running a program I put together myself by using Layne Norton's PHAT principles...I'm thinking bout switching it up again too lol.
Lol TY Andrew! Speed work is definitely something that takes time to get used to. Hack squats are a favorite excercise of mine. Really targets the quads well assuming you do a close stance, or at least I find it does.My log

I weighed in at 182 today, so I only lost .2lbs since last week, I need to dial in on my diet a bit more Those darn potlucks at work probably did it.
Now that exams are over I feel like I have a moment to finally breath! . Maybe the lack of stress from exams will allow me to kill the next power sessionMy log

Side note - I just bought some cake batter ON Gold Standard whey protein...HNNNGGG. SOOOO Good. Limited time flavor; I definitely recommend it to anyone needing a new protein. I may freeze it and make it into ice cream. Would taste delicious.

Thanks Tom! Session felt great.
Yeah, I'm cutting on 2300 calories right now ...feelsbadman.jpg.
I'm cutting to around 170. I was 165 at the end of my cut last year, but I think I may have gained more mass than I originally thought. Abs are already coming in well at 182. I'll play it by ear. 170 is the goal, but I may just settle for 175 depending on what the mirror says.
I'm going to school for social work. I might possibly do a nursing degree as well; I haven't decided on that yet, but I'm set on social work.My log

TY Pyaarawala!
I'm 6 foot. Post bulk I was 189lbs, now I'm sitting at 182lbs and abs are coming in nicely already. I bulked for around 6 months. I may only need to cut down to around 175lbs this year; I still got a bit of lower back fat to cut down.
Heres a progress video from yesterday:
Onto the workout!...
POWER DAY
Squats
275x3x5
Note: It's time for a reset on these. I tried 305 and it just wouldn't budge for the 3 sets. I hit one set of 3x5 last time, but this is expected on a cut. ...I fell short of my 315lb squat goal for X-mas, but I have not doubt that I would have been able to hit it had I maintained my bulk. No problem though. Resetting it should allow me to come back stronger
BB Row
190x3x5
These went up. Getting tough...but getting strong .
DL
305x1x5
Note: Not bad.
OHP
135x3x5
These just wouldn't budge today...I think the attempts at the 305 squat took too much out of me. I'll hit 137.5 next time.
BB Curls
90x2x8
90x1x6
Chin-ups
BW + 45lbs x 2x8
BW + 45lbs x 1x6
Lying tricep extensions
80x2x8
80x1x6
DB BP
90x3x5
Overall not a bad session. Resetting in some areas; becoming stronger in others. My squats have been soaring since the beginning of my bulk though, so its about time for the reset.
Merry Christmas everyone! Stay safe!My log

Strong power session! Everything's looking good and it's a good idea to drop back those weights occasionally
-- it'll help with form and your lifts will be stronger in the end
Great job on the bulk cut as well

Great job, man.
Considering you're on a cut, everything is still pretty strong and you're doing great.
You bump up those calories (once ready to end the cut) and your numbers will bump along with them.
Very nice session. Full of great, tough movements.Architect, Marine Biologist, Importer-Exporter, Latex Manufacturing.

Ty Andrew. It should definitely help with form .
Yeah I am...lol I'm thinking about switching the power days up. Its not really an accurate DL max with all the squat and row work before it.
TY for the kind words.
TY! Looking to lose another 5-10lbs.
Yeah, a definite struggle but possible. HIT IT!
Thanks Tom! Yeah cut should be over soon...end of January. Then I'm planning a recomp . cutting feelsbadman .

TY brother! They felt good! Xmas was well.
TY Hunter! Yeah...looks a lot better than that previous vid of it lol...that was terrible IMO.
