lol'd
I think you get full faster off of brown rice because it's nasty when compared to white rice so you eat it more slowly and feel more satiated in the process lol....srs
Took me a long time to get used to the taste, and would choose white over brown every time if there isn't a concern to be 'health conscious'.

LOL this is so true, every time i go to chipotle i can't help but laugh at everybody getting brown rice since it's "healthier" (lol) because they're missing out on how amazing/delicious chipotle's white rice is and they're still fat & don't lift so it's not like getting brown rice is going to make any difference whatsoever.

I eat white rice absolutely plain and like it... I enjoy the flavors of plain food.
Do you still think I'd hate brown rice? It doesn't look bad at all.

The brown rice I buy has like 1/4 calories of the white rice I buy for the same serving size...
Edit:
Uncle Ben's Brown Rice 160 calories for 1 cup
Cinta Azul White Rice 160 calories for 1/4 cup lol
Apparently the reason my internet wasn't working is that it was shut off by the cable company because the USCG didn't pay the bill (lolwut?)

LOL the irony of our times...
I like white rice plain too and still am not a fan of brown rice...not to mention, it can be hard to get brown rice just right. Have noticed that a lot of brands don't have the proper cooking time on the packaging and the rice is too hard, or easily overcooked / slimy. You can try it...walmart has a great value bag for like one dollar. Their cook time worked for me as well.
Jasmine rice all day everyday though

Strong arms/forearms. Fap much?
In to my 13th week of this bulk. Put on a good amount of mass, really happy with my progress. Going to bulk for another 7 weeks, totalling the bulk period up to 20 weeks. Getting a little tubby, but I don't mind it during the winter months. Rate out of ten, k, thanks.Currently cutting.

lulz! College goalkeeper. I had to do all kinds of hand/forearm exercises for extra grip (srs) Needless to say I don't have to spend any time on them at the gym.

The Uncle Ben's doesn't specify, maybe they mean 1 cup cooked rice. (after it's absorbed water and inflated)

d00d you should totally tell them to IF as long as you eat within an 18 minute window one time per day from 2:00 to 2:18 per day. I've been eating 4000 cals per day still but i'm losing fat and all of my lifts are going up. This is their problem they need to quit bulking and use IF it's amazing. (strong not srs)
Sorry, this is incredibly lame but I couldn't resist the bulk correlation.*LF Chat Crew

it really pisses me off that they are allowed to label it like that. trust me, you weren't the first and won't be the last to get confused by that. they probably are charging more for the brown rice too even though it requires less processing just because they can trick people into thinking it's a lower-calorie option.

You're right. I never paid close enough attention.
If I ate rice every day and was counting calories and not meeting my goals I would be really pissed to discover this. I hardly ever eat it, though.
Puerto Rican rice probably has like 1,000 calories per cup due to the amount of roast pork and sofrito that goes into it.US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

Everything should be labelled with nutritional values as sold, what is the point in giving nutritional info for cooked rice/pasta? Cooked weight depends on how you cook it. Not to mention you have to go through the whole doing test runs to see how much raw pasta/rice will weigh when cooked. Much easier to know dry values and weigh it out before cooking.

Some fat people are the healthiest eater there is, some of the ones I know eat only healthy stuff , always the "healthy" option whenever there is one! Ofc. it probably does not help they eat 3x as much of it since its "healthy" or fill up with dessert since they have just been soooo good eating only "healthy" stuff
