USAPL uses WADA standards for the rules, thus marijuana is only illegal for in-competition use there's a section on cannabinoids here
At 99% of meets what is being tested for is a steroid panel only, not even stimulants. That doesn't make 'prohibited-at-all-times' substances any less prohibited obviously..Picking things up and putting them down since '09

He doth protest too much.
He said quite a few times how he doesn't have anything to explain to anyone... then proceeds to explain how his squat wasn't high or his bench were locked out fine etc.
But, tactics seem to have helped a fair bit. Arian can you please take a course in game theory to beat these pesky Russians?202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

If your lifts pass at Worlds, they're fukin good enough. Depth and lockout Nazis fuk off.
Konovalov straight up asks if the trolls can even unrack 460. Great interview.

Ah yes, the oldest trick in the book - question their unracking capabilities.
It makes me wonder how much I can actually unrack now...202.5/135/245. Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165241801.

400+ is pretty heavy.
Anyone ever wake up one morning with crazy wrist pain? Feels like tendonitis, had it all week and not really getting any better, although I have been training on it. Gets better throughout the day and then ****ty again the next morning. Hurts to bend it forward but not backwards and the top of my hand is all swollen. Weird.

laughed hard at that
i found he came off as a bit whiny throughout the interview but whatever.
only thing i thought was pretty silly was the andreys 3rd passed and blaines 3rd didn't, even though it was for like a soft knee or some bullchit. looked fine to me, blaine gets a bunch of garbage calls.
blaine actually got pretty goddamn close on that third deadlift. I feel like blaines never hit like a real max on deadlifts, not that i've seen anyway. might just be a grip situation where he can pull a lot but just can't hang on to it.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

I did ask for an exchange for the 2.5m model but that's not possible when they're telling me that the 2m wraps which I hold in my hand are actually 2.5m and they didn't mess up anything in the order
idk, can't order 2.5m anywhere else, and these felt good today....might keep them, I have the night to think about it, it's a bit tricky, my sis bought them as a gift, got it shipped to her in germany, now with every further complain I'm making her more and more ''trouble'' and they don't seem bad tbh, not sure if it's worth it - wouldn't have gone with that site in the first place if I had another option, but no one ships to this country directly, or they charge a fortune for it - we'll see
about the waiting time, once my money went through, they told me they didn't have any in stock and that they're ordering from inzer and that it will arrive in 8-9 weeks, so I knew about that 10 weeks ago as well...

tfw warming up for an attempt at a new 1rm and accidentally hit it without realising because you misloaded
I thought you could only get true blacks in 2m tbh (but even if they are the longest ones available they're still lying to you). At least you can use them in the IPF if you ever want to

Long time no see pl fam
Been thinking about snagging some powerlifting shoes for squats, my stance is like just outside shoulder width and I sit back pretty far, I'm kind of worried about getting anything with a heel in it especially because I used to squat with a much wider stance...
any recommendations? Been looking into it quite a bit, but any input would help

how wide's your stance? Have a vid by chance? Most of the people I've been seeing with thick heels have like sunk their squats, and I don't really do that lol

TFW body is willing but inner ear problem is stopping you from being able to get close to the numbers you should be hitting in the gym

kind of tricky, do like wraps but don't like singly ply, don't really enjoy the depth (although at our last gpc meet they were more strict than the last ipf meet here), hate pulling on stiff bars, would hate 2 hour weighins, would fail a drug test (even though our team got invited to attend meets without getting tested, we declined) - it's all just very unorganized here, last serbian nationals people would get red-lighted immediately by the head-judge for squatting low bar or wearing sleeves, yes you read that right. Croatian nationals this weekend would pass obviously high squats and even those with visible downward motion, not sure if there are any approved judges
and this all is for ipf in serbia/croatia, we don't even have it in my country, we don't even have any kind of legit national federation, the sport doesn't exist on paper in this country

That sucks man. You said before that you guys just organise your own meets aye?
I remember you saying about the reds for "using too much low bar" chit, high bar supremacists do my ****ing head in (I am a high bar guy). Saw a comment on a ******** vid of Malan squatting his 1036 (I think) and some guy was like "Respect him for squatting high bar not low bar fake squat bull****". Mind blowing stupidity even ignoring that Malan has squatted low bar his entire career lol.

I think like 1.25*shoulder width.. ish. I've been working pretty hard not to sink my squats any more. I reworked them about 4-5 months ago per the recommendation of zourdos

yup, we've taken on a serious project, we're organizing the gpc balkan championship 2016, should be pretty sweet, first meet around these countries with two platforms and both fully equipped with monolifts/special bars etc.
it's pretty difficult considering that right now there's a grand total of 3 gyms in Balkan that have an eleiko pl weight set, but apart from my gym being one of them, we've already ordered more

Nice man, hope it goes well. You'll be competing as well as organising I take it?
Jelly that you get to train with eleiko stuff, my gym mostly has nasty ass half broken 32mm wolverson bars (although they're all being replaced in the next few weeks I doubt they'll be much better).
There are some 28mm ones which I much prefer for both squats and deads but they're all in storage atm along with the oly platforms and bumpers while the gym is upgraded so tonight I'm pulling with these fukers

First time I touched an Elieko was at my meet doing pin height. I fell in love as soon as I unracked it.
$1000 is well out of my price range.
