Finally got started on covering up an old tattoo.
Before
4 hours into cover up
Took 3 hours to outline. I have probably another 4 hours of color and shading to go.

short 3 hour session to work on shading other parts and adding in the red. My gf snapped this pic of it whilst I was passed the fuk out. It's still red and swollen this was 3 hours after the session lol.

Gotcha. Wish I could help you out but my latin is rusty lulz. The other problem is sometimes english just doesn't translate the same exact way to another language. What makes for proper grammar in English if translated accordingly could make no sense in the other language.
I would imagine the % of foreign language/symbol tats being wrong is WAY up there.

Another 3 hour session done, finished all backgrounds and started filling in bamboos. One more session to fill in the rest and tiger. Loving how the emblem came out.

Looking great man. Can't wait to see it all finished. bringing it all the way down or stopping where it is at elbow?
Im not too into old school look but quality looks good and interested to see how color comes out. Youre happy with it and thats what matters.

I hope the people with huge asian tats are actually asian getting asian lettering pretty goofy instead of their own heritages ancient text. Asian tats have become the tribals.
