I think with the weight plates it is a decent deal. If you can talk him down I say go for it.

Honestly, if I had the room I'd buy it (and it was local to me, obviously). That machine is one of my favorite movements, I am going to try to come up with a diy way to do it effectively.

Picked up the Elite 90 Pblock set with bench and dip attachment i asked about earlier in the thread. Pretty good shape for 10years old.

What do yall think about this york/ivanko curl bar combo? 50bucks.. Pretty cool.

Picked it up Sunday. Used it this morning for my work out and loved it. Was very happy to find out when I got there that the weight included was 360 lbs. Thanks everyone.

Its about a 40 minute drive from me. Im not a big fan of the concrete weights but is this a good deal? Its 320lbs, plus bench, plus bars.

Yeah, not a chance. People give away concrete/sand filled weights. That bench looks like ass. That stuff isn't worth half that much.

I put 200 pounds of them on craigslist for free and had no takers. Ended up putting them out to the road with the garbage. I had to put a few plates a week in the cans to even have him take them.

Yeah, I have just over 160 pounds I offer to people when they come look at other stuff I am selling. I mean, weight is weight...if you work out with it and it does it for you, awesome. I sure wouldn't PAY for that "quality" of equipment, though. It is abundant used and pretty much nobody wants it. If you actually want it, people will beg you to take it, or ask very little.

I had 2 people give me standard plates. Once 600lbs and another time mid 3's. It took months to sell it all at .35¢ a lb.

Yeah, cement aren't worth paying that much for. Often you can get them for free. I think PIAS sports sells them for 10 cents per lb.

that seems high to me. Awful close to the price buying them brand new. Offer $200

Thats 420lbs. Typically at the store you can get them at about $1 a pound. He is selling at .71 cents a pound. Ive seen dumbbells sell on craigslist for .50 cents a pound often (depending on location). You could take your time and build a set as good deals come available or try negotiating with him.
