    Muscle Cramps and Keto

I started keto about 2 days ago and am on my third day.
I eat about 20-30 grams of carbs a day and alot of fats and moderate protein.
I recently found that my muscle randomly get cramped feelings like my traps and legs and arms.
    What is this.
    I've lost about 2-4lbs already/.

My first guess would your not drinking enough water.

Regadless of how much water i consume a day, I ALWAYS drink 20oz of water 20minutes before my workout.

Make sure you are getting enough potassium and are drinking plenty of water.

Wow. Even the keto forum is going to ****. Only one person hit the nail on the head with this one?

Muscle cramps are a common problem on keto and it's always because of lack of potassium. Second to potassium is magnesium. http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?t...ciencysymptoms

Are you waking up with charlie horses yet? Now those ****ing hurt and usually because of magnesium more than potassium. Ps..if you get one, stand up on it instantly don't continue to sit there.

Simply take a mineral supplement on Keto.
    1k.
