OSUDimond replied that he had used them and gave them the thumbs up, so I placed an order for some earlier this week. These must be in stock because I recieved them on Friday. The idea behind these is to try to eliminate as much of the grip in an exercise as possible, allowing the target muscles to recieve maximum benefit without wasting energy on the grip. Currently, they have 7 different options. 3 close grip options (neutral, pronation, and suppination), 3 medium grip width choices, and 1 wide grip choice. I purchased the overhand close grip, the underhand medium grip, and the wide grip which feels like it is overhand but may be considered neutral. They came with a covering similar to truck bedliner. The covering is great for home gym use but I would question how long that it might last in a commercial gym setting. I have briefly tried a few reps with each attachment and can say that they definately feel different but I will need a few workouts before I can give a verdict.

I forgot to post up after I got mine. Shipping said 3-4 weeks and I got it in like 2 days. I ordered the Close grip neutral attachment. I love it and all of my clients do too. A couple days ago I did 4 sets of pulldowns, 4 sets of seated row and 4 sets of facepulls with the mag grip and am still a little sore. I may be a little biased on my review since grip comfort is pretty important to me from an injury to my right arm. I want to order either a medium or wide but can't decide between neutral or pronated.
    Nothing is impossible.

Ok, got my BS half-rack and the plate tree sold already, and the Parabody rack is now set up in its place. I didn't realize until after I got it all assembled that whoever had put it together originally installed the spotter arms backwards. The bar hooks that are supposed to be on the front of the spotter arms are in the back instead. I'm trying to decide if I feel like taking it all apart to switch them around or not...

I will probably end up getting the other two pronation and supination attachments sometime. I dont think that I will get any of the neutral grip attachments as I already have other things that do that. In bodybuilding, alot if it is about hitting the muscles at/from different angles.

I would suggest not taking it apart. As much as I love My 843 rack, the front j hooks do zero for my lifts. At the highest setting you still have to front squat whatever weight for OOHP. Best to leave the rack as is and either clean the barbell for ohp, or look for squat stands

Pin diameter- Just about 0.7 of an inch. Pin length is 3.5"

Overall handle length from end of bracket to end of handle - 14.5"
Length of handle without bracket - 12 3/8"
Height of bracket that holds pin - just a hair under 2"

It should be fairly easy to build these or have them built for you by a local welder.

This is exactly what I was thinking once I held a set in my hands. There's really nothing to them, and any welder worth a damn ought to be able to whip out a set easily. I didn't think the pin diameter was quite a large as the specs above indicate, but I haven't mic'd them yet...

awesome thanks! so it appears that the dip handles are just inserted into the 2 holes on the safety spots eh?

that's a bit too wide for my grip, so I might have to go with a set up that the extremepullup person posted a while back

    thanks!

A similar (but narrower) set could be built using the same basic materials by using one longer piece of angle instead of two, and welding the handles closer together...or, one could just drill an extra hole in the spotter arm to mount one of the handles closer to the other.

It's beautiful. If that is the piece I think it is... I see people regularly using it with your chest facing the pad in addition to the normal back against pad. Sometimes I have dreams that I am walking through a massive warehouse full of mint hammer strength pieces with $2 price tags on them. Got to love Hammer Strength

Nice pickup bro', I'm gald to see that you survived the trip well and brought home that beautiful machine. Repped.

BTW, if you get rid of the kid's stuff, and build a small shed for the non-essentials (everything other than gym equipment), I'm sure that you can find more room for some new HS stuff, lol.

Nice find Irongrandpa!!!! Yeah the space sure dose fill quick!

    More Hammer Strength...

Found a HS single tier dumbbell rack for the Iron Grips a few posts up ($90)

This thing is a lot longer than it looked in the CL pics (16.5” W x 90” L x 23.5” H) and quite hefty at 93 lbs, I'm wanting to move the heavy asz smith about 6' then move the DB rack between it and the bar. With the plates off I can move/puill the 750 lb smith about 3 in at a time

Here's where I want the DB rack... where the spin cycle sits.

That's a great idea. Then you can do 45# curls with one arm and 12 oz. curls with the others. Confuse those muscles!

...I know what you're saying dude, I'd be happy just to have the space for a corvette in my gym, I definately chose the wrong path in life.

I'm liking the hammer strength pieces bought recently, very nice finds.

These babies arrived in the post today. Alex olympic compression collars. The are pretty much identical in design and quality to Ivankos except they are half the price. I don't think they are made any more (under the Alex brand anyway) but any info anyone can give me will be appreciated. I posted the question in the Ivanko forum but so far its had no responses. I remember someone before saying that Alex plates were made in the same factory as Ivankos so there is a good chance these are one and the same. Either way they are beautifully engineered, so much so that I bought the sellers second set off him too. We have the same ones in the fire station gym but they are chrome, and they have survived many years of use and abuse, its deadlift day tonight so I'll be putting them through thier paces in a few minutes.

Bought a brand new Nautilus Incline Bench from a local gym today for $240. The seat pad and back pad weren't mounted and those bolts were missing, so they knocked off $10. I have a sh!t load of new fasteners so no big deal there. After I bolted the seat and back pad on, both would bind when lifting and lowering. I removed the smaller pad between the seat & back and noticed the frame was dragging on the bottom of this pad. Someone had the main pivot blocks installed wrong, I flipped them over and walla... no more binding : ) It may be the reason never was put into service.

In the pic you can see the pivot pin (above the Nautilus badge) isn't centered in the mounting block. I lifted the assembly off the frame and simply rotated the mounting pivot block for the necessary clearance.

The bench upholstery is softer than any I've owned and the back is nice and wide... so far... I love this bench!

Back pad adjusts from 0 to 85 degrees in 6 adjustment positions
Seat pad adjusts from 0 to 30 degrees
Pivot points use bushings to extend machine life
    Dimensions Height 18.5" (Raised 52.5")
    Length 57.5" (Raised 45.5")
    Width 24"
    Machine Weight 100 lbs
