What are your current PRs anyways? We should make a rule to have PRs put in signatures so that we can judge each other without having to call each other out.

Dude I don't even know, can't oly lift at the school gym. I haven't done a legit snatch for about 2 months and I haven't C&J'd for maybe a month. The only things I've PR'd in were front and back squats this week.

yeah haha. Hoping for 130kg-140kg by the end of this base mesocycle then gonna hop on intense

Anyone know if intense mesocycle is any good? It looks pretty easy so I'd be able to fit in more of the real lifts and increase them.

Doing back to back base mesocycle, on my 2nd week of the 2nd base mesocycle and it feels like self-torture lol. Good I have a home gym so I can let out yells of peace

Compared to the base cycle it looks much easier. Have you done it before? How does it compare to base mesocycle? I'm thinking it's easier because there is less overall volume with less overall tonnage used compared to the base cycle

^^ I found base cycle fairly easy mentally. I found certain workouts in the intense cycle very tough mentally - there were many sets where every single rep I had to focus 100% on the lift and still was not sure if I could stand up. There's a reason why it's called the "intense" cycle. There's even a warning on the program description that says "it might look like there's less volume etc. but you better believe it is a lot tougher" or something.

I'll keep that in mind haha. Even now on base cycle I'm having to stand up with weights where my legs are shaking. Only way to get through them is to shout at myself and get out of the hole as fast as possible lol

I don't care what you feel or think right now, or how you feel after the base mesocycle. Your angus is NOT peppered for the intense cycle. I had some serious internal emotional struggles trying to get through some of the intense cycle sessions. The 5x5 days especially. Everything is very heavy. My knee was inflamed from overuse, elbows were aching, lower back constantly sore.

The base mesocycle is hard so far as it is a grueling/marathon program. The intense cycle is hard so far as there is a good chance you'll be crushed by the next set if you aren't completely dialed in.

    EDIT:

also, pause FSd 111 kg last night. no belt, very easy... will be CJing it post haste, srs.
    Best gym lifts: S 430 / B 385 / D 480 both C&S

srs? for 5 sets of 7 reps, so 100kg became light for me now

    100kg x 47 is ridiculous endurance
    100 x 47 x .0333 + 100 = 256kg as a 1rm if your lower rep range strength was up to par with your endurance lol

I just kept dropping the weights and now they don't say anything to me anymore.
    Squat: 135 lbs
    Bench: 225 lbs
    Deadlift: 185 lbs

Stop quoting my stats. I know what I'm doing if I can deadlift 1.5 plates.

Do they have an platform and bumper plates? If so argue that the platform is meant for that. Also that would they rather be responsible for you injuries by not dropping the weights or let you drop the weights?

Seriously though... I wish they would make a supplement to make joints indestructible. I can deal with muscle injuries but these joint injuries are killing me...

Most of the time my knees are fine. Except for this patella tendonitis (well at least I think that's what it is)...

I have to do BW squats, bar squat, 135lbs squat, 185 squats, 225 squats before my hip flexors aren't sore....
