Nootropics - A Quick Guide

Tried Pramiracetam recently, but haven't had the best results. Going to see if it is dosage related or a bad batch.

Praimracetam on it's own? Or with anything else? How long were you taking it for, and at what dose?

Bad batch is always possible though, I've seen numerous reports of certain sites selling bunk powder. Incredibly frustrating considering the costs of some of them.

The entire foundation of my nootropic stack is ~2-4g of ALCAR per day alongside 2+ grams of SNS Choline Citrate. Simplicity works, I've been very happy with the results for a stack that's really quite cheap.

I have no idea. It could be that I'm sensitive to it and may have to decrease my dosage or the complete opposite and I may have to increase the dose. What kind of effect are you getting from ALCAR?

With consistent dosing, the cumulative affects of ALCAR with regards to memory formation, retention, and general mental acuity have been remarkable for me. My thoughts just seem more structured and readily accessible. It's not quite as pronounced or acute as a racetam, but over time it's pretty astounding.

BB chooses not to carry the SNS brand for their own dumb reasons, but it can be easily found else where for as cheap as 19.95.

The options are endless. Choline/ALCAR/racetams/Huperzine/Glucuronolactone/etc/etc...

Focus XT is a well dosed nootropic cocktail (caffeinated or caffeine free), and great flavor, going to be hard to find it that elsewhere.

I've been taking Focus XT (1serv) + Piracetam (~4-5g) for some time and love the effects, but was disappointed when Piracetam prices doubled not long ago, so I'm considering replacing it with something else when I run out of it. Can you guys suggest an inexpensive substitute?

What do you guys think about Focus XT + ALCAR? Or is there enough ALCAR already in Focus XT?

I add ALCAR to my Focus XT because I use an extremely high dose, but Focus XT has enough in it if you don't normally use a ton of ALCAR. You could always use half a scoop of Focus XT, add in ALCAR, and use another half of Focus XT in a few hours with some more ALCAR if you fancy adding ALCAR to Focus XT. More bang for your buck imo.

You could always use half a scoop of Focus XT, add in ALCAR, and use another half of Focus XT in a few hours with some more ALCAR if you fancy adding ALCAR to Focus XT. More bang for your buck imo.

Add 1g ALCAR if you do add it to FXT. 1-2g ALCAR on days you don't take FXT for cumulative effects, in the morning or pre-wo.

Noopept is an option as said, there are other racetams that are available as well, but I don't have any experience with them.

Actually, Noopept works out to being one of the cheapest options. 5g costs about $25, and is dosed at about 20mg/day. About 10 cents a serving.

Of course, the distribution factor always scares people, but where do you think the Piracetam comes from? They're all distributed out of some factory in China.

Aniracetam is also an option, but I'm not sure whether that is cost effective.

Actually you're right, it is cheaper than piracetam. My numbers were initially wrong, also, I read in a few spots that dosage is 20mg 1-3x/day. How's your experience so far with the 20mg daily, and how would you compare it to piracetam?
