my motivation has been way down, but I did have a decent day of jerking. With my buddy's wedding this weekend and mine a few weeks later, not sure how much I will be training in the month of December. Will reevaluate after Honeymoon. I will clean and jerk 151 and jerk 157 before wedding though.

Also, does anyone know something that could help me keep my butt from shooting straight up when snatching? I try and think 'lead with the shoulders/chest, keep your butt down, drive off the heels', but nothing seems to work.

It's not substance abuse. There are many other rules than that. Donny has never shown any indication of substance abuse in his career.

When the weight gets extremely heave I think it is impossible to bang the bar....its so close to your body once it passes your knees that you need to think of it as banging the bar, but in reality youre not. Only person I've ever seen effectively "BANG" the bar is jessica north lol. she loops that **** out so far.


its so funny you mention that wht because i was thinking along the lines of affair too hahahaha.
besides something like the # of practices attended or missing some training sessions i have absolutely no effin clue...sad.

I think the sound that you hear is the inside of the weight plates slamming against the bar because the change in momentum is so fast when they get under the bar..
