what do you want me to do then? If i get to 230 from 170 that means I gained 60lb's. If half of that is fat (which would mean I utterly failed and didnt workout at all) then that means my LBM went up 30lb's. That means I can cut to like 195lb's and be at like 6%BF... that means awesomeness
Look at it this way
BEFORE: 170lbs, 9% BF = 154LBM
+ 30lb's LBM =
184lb's LBM.
So, when I cut down, let's say I lose about 4lb's of muscle and get to 195lb's
That means at 195lb's, my LBM will be 180lb's. BF % will be 8% (15/195= 0.08)
..THEN i'll look awesome

LMFAO you have to be kidding me you just gained 100% fat over the last few months work, does not look like you gained a pound of muscle to me at all, so stop talking bull**** and do a recomp now before you realise that you will be a huge fat fuk if you bulk to 230!
You will do a cut and then crawl up and die when you realise your the same size if not smaller than a year previous.Last edited by Wevans2303; 03-01-2009 at 10:51 AM.

sure but I'm going to start supplementing with ZMA and Xtend from Scivation (look at their recent study!) in the next month, up until I get to 230. Supplements greatly increase the body's ability to gain muscle.
Then, when I cut i'm thinking of running an ECA stack to prevent muscle loss, as well as starting to megadose Controlled Lab's White Flood/Green Mag stack (different type of creatine in there that's better at helping you body keep muscle as opposed to the Cell-Tech that I'm taking now)

Also, to everybody who says you can't gain 1lb of muscle a week:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=113689801
The people in the study gained 9lb's of muscle and LOST 4lb's of fat!! And that's without prohormones or steroids. Im going to take that supplement and do the same thing

So you think its the same for everyone?
They are probably new to weights and fuking dosile before.
Please, stop digging yourself into a huge hole, you fool.]
I would bet $1000 that you will not be near 200lbs 6% fat like you say you will in your time frame.
I will actually do this, $1000 bet.1k+ people.

none of their statements have to be true at all, they can conduct/interpret the study however they please.
they had a gatorade group that lost 1lb of fat, whey protein group gained 5lbs of muscle and lost fat.
xtend is just amino acids, it is a good product, but it does not have that large of an effect, nor does any non hormonal supplement. you are expecting way too much from supplements.

IMO, there's no problem bulking to 230lbs at this point. OP's BF% is SO HIGH at this point, it'd be difficult to look any fatter taken that he's doing a slow bulk (.6lb-1lb a week). Try to gain the 25lbs in a one year period and a large percentage of it will come from muscle assuming you don't have the genetics of a girl. Your BF% will probably decrease in a bulk like that, THEN you can cut all the fat you gained from this moronic bulk of yours (lol 2800cals to 4300...). I guess at least you gained some muscle during the bulk, lol.

Well you clearly dont know anything because your under the impression your bulk was a succes, most of the people on here will agree it was a total failure.
You gained 30lbs of fat, no muscle.
I hate to say it but it looks like you stopped lifting and hopped it down to macdonalds for 6 months.
Also, it looks like the pictures should be the other way round, the before pic should be the after pic.1k+ people.
