Yeah it's a better addition. The BCAA's help you utilize the protein better. Honestly, just stick with the basics in terms of supps. A solid protein, some creatine, and general health things. You need a solid base of muscle built up, so focus in more on your diet and hitting your heavier compound lifts. Build your base, the supplements are just that. They supplement your routine.

Sup OP, I'd suggest getting more protein from dietary sources and just using creatine for the time being. Forget all the fancy names and ****, just get the stuff on the BB.com website for like $20/kg. 10g/day for the first week then 5g/day after.
I'd recommend doing OHP, clean pulls, RDL's, bench, power cleans and back squats(or front squats, or both). Then chuck in some ab work, like (hanging) leg raises, situps, etc. I'd recommend working everything in unison, just do it over a few days. You can always chuck in a few bicep curls(barbell) and your choice of tricep work if your arms are lacking.
Don't worry about all this hypertrophy stuff if you're only just getting in to it, just work on building a nice set of muscles that you can add on to later. Then you can see what is growing faster or slower and adjust accordingly.
GL OP, remember it isn't all about the weight, just try to minimise the time spent out from injuries and recovering but still give it a good shot. If you're unsure, just do starting strength or something like that.Success is nothing more than taking advantage of an opportunity. If the opportunity presents itself, take it.
And remember; BIG CHEST. Whenever I lift, that's all I think, along with numbers.
