I really like the Koshi GoLean cereal. Loaded with fiber and protein actually. There are a few kinds and the one with 'Crunch' on the end of it has more sugar if I remember correctly so maybe go with just the regular one. Tastes pretty damn good for a healthy cereal.

Kashi is good but cheerios or fiber one has minimal amounts of sugar if any.

Yes, Kashi Go Lean has higher sugar content (13g), but it's good!
I eat HN Cheerios (9g) and Kashi Cinnamon harvest (9g) which is lower than GL.
Plain cheerios (?g) has some sugar, but not much.

Kashi is good, just make the best choice for you. It gave me unbelievable gas until I got used to it.

Old fashioned shredded wheat has little sugar in it and you can put whatever you like in it.

I alternate between Cheerios and Kashi. I had 4 !!! boxes of cheerios in my closet recently -Buy one get one free, yum!

The Kashi Strawberry Fields (their version of Special K red berries) is like crack to me. I ate an entire box in 3 days 1 day alone was 400 cals from it. hahaa. mmmmmm, kashi crack! The kashi almond flax crunch is tasty too. I just today tried the go lean crunch - wow major crunch action there. I have TMJ, so I will not be eating it too often.

Old fashioned shredded wheat is awesome with a bit of brown sugar or honey on top. But, if it sits too long, it's mush. When it's mushie, my dogs get it. lol.

I'll have Special K with All Bran mixed in, some wheat germ sprinkled on and artificial sweetener. I don't do lactose products too well so I can only have a drop of skim milk - and then only on some days. But this combo digests fairly fast (for complex carbs) and soups up good for a heavy workout.

When they start putting meat in cereal I'll start eating it! IMO, cereal is like soup, just an excuse to skip a meal. I think all i ate growing up was porridge (gag) just got the shivers typing that. lol

Cereal is like eating air. It takes a whole box to fill me up, so I just say no.

    Give me protein!
Yorkshireman I: Right! I had to get up in the morning, at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill and pay mill-owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves, singing Hallelujah!

Not to mention 98% of cereals are glucose factories in a tidy cardboard box.
