That’s the average age of the Navy SEAL Team 6 member involved in the Pakistan action, according to foreign policy expert Frederick Kempe, who said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” he got his information from a dinner he had with a “three-star admiral Navy SEAL.”

Now, I know Special Forces soldiers are older because, among other things, the job requires experience and maturity.

But that’s still really cool (said the 40-year-old).

The Daily Mail says about Team 6, its members “are chosen from among other SEAL teams after years of exemplary service to hunt and kill terrorist targets anywhere in the world.”

FYI: Like Delta Force, SEAL Team 6 does not exist.

No 18-25 tear old would have the operational experience to keep their cool while raiding a compound containing bin laden. It would shake even the most cool headed youngster, these guys would have been the best of the best.

NAVY seals dont just have the best training in the world, they also have the best genetics in the world. if you see a 38 years old seal, youll probably think he is 30 or something. im loling at 28. 28 is the average age of a captain in the army and captain rank sucks.

my best friends dad is an ex-SEAL. He is now 41, and is in better shape/condition than almost anyone I personally know. Ive never seen a 41 year old with a six pack, and he is like 190-210 lbs.

Back when I was in high school we used to box, for fun, one time. Learned my lesson, had a fat lip for like a week.

My Scuba Diving instructor was a Navy Seal. Had a bunch of great stories and now he owns a Scuba shop (Fitting for him). He said he's spent almost an entire year of his life underwater.

Isn't it actually SBT-12 (Special Boat Team 12) based in Coronado but commanded by NSWG4 in Little Creek?

SEAL Teams 1,3,5,7 are also based in Coronado with NSWG1.

Yeah you're right, don't know too much about the SWCC stuff, I grew up in Virginia Beach so I'm only really familiar w/ the SEAL teams based out of Little Creek.
