Best supplement for slowing down metabolism

Hey guys I was just woundering what is the best supplement for slowing down metabolism. Even if it slows it down a little bit. I have been searching on the forum but I cannot seem to find any information on that. I cannot keep in body fat on me and it is hurting my lifting, this is why I want to slow down my metabolism.

Consuming a lot of fat/calories, preferably from calorie dense foods and specifically before bed. Drinking a lot of whole milk, eating natural peanut butter, and eating ground beef are all good ways to pack in a lot of calories.

You REALLY want to slow down your metabolism?

    It's easy...

Simply don't eat ALL day. Then eat one big fat garbage dinner late in the evening. Doesn't even have to be garbage, just full of simple carbs.

The objective is to put your body in starvation mode. Thus putting your body in "reserve" mode. Pretty much makes your body try to hold on to whatever you eat. You'll simply be pushing your body's " survival instinct buttons".

Do this for a while...it'll DEF. slow down. I promise you.

Why do you want to keep body fat exactly and how is it hurting your lifting to lose body fat?

Beer did a number on my metabolism for a few years. You probably want to start at a low dose, say a 12 pack per day, and then work your way up. I wouldn't go past 36 in a day, and you definately want to have support supplements (pretzels, peanuts, fried pickles).

    Good luck!

Eat a lot of fatty foods at night. Buy some protein weight gainers to up your calorie intake.

I guarantee op is one of those people who thinks they eat 10,000 calories a day when in reality they are only eating 2,000.

also LOL at the idea of some magic supplement to slow your metabolism down instead of just eating more. You could look into controlled labs black hole to increase your appetite.

    Breakfast: waffles, and sausage

Lunch: 3 Hamburger and fries ( everyday)

Dinner : steak with some type of potatoe

    Protein shakes with every meal

That is pretty much the my week of eatting.

But very few people on here know what a fast metabolism is, in the first place. If you did know what it is you would not say that you would ever want that. I am 6 foot 2 135 and I eat alot, plus I have no appetite. Now who in there right mind would want that???????

Yeah....ummm.....that general of a response doesn't help much. You have no idea what your daily totals are. From the looks of it, you don't eat that much. You might be up around 3,000 calories or so.

Like everyone has been saying. EAT MORE. I don't care ho high your metabolism is. Quit b*tching about it and eat more food. That's the best way to grow. If you need an appetite stimulant, look into Controlled Labs "Black Hole" or something along those lines. Bottom line is you're obviously not taking in enough calories as it is.

    6'2" 135????

Either you have a serious metabolic condition that should be treated by a doctor or you are not eating enough.

Track everything you eat, everyday for a month and see what your average daily intake is and then come back and ask the question again.

Hmmm, how about eating more to meet the needs of our training?
Focus, concentrate, lift, rest adequately, repeat. No talking.

The only way you will get smarter is by playing a smarter opponent.
The only way you will get stronger is by training with a stronger partner.

If you need to grunt while moving some heavy ass weight in the gym, go for it. I probably can't hear you anyway since I have some Black Sabbath turned to 11 in my ears.

But grunting in the locker room, especially from behind a stall door, is just fooking disturbing. Please refrain.

Cortisol...It will slow your metabolism. But it will also slow your muscle building.

On the flip side though, the more muscle you build, the faster the metabolism is, so...if you really want a slow metabolism, don't workout.
