Does Lemon water really burn calories and fat up faster than just regular water?

I like the taste of regular water but I take real lemons not lemon juice and squeeze the juice and add it to ice cold water, would that help burn calories and fat faster than just regular water? Any one know the true benefits of lemon water?

If anything, I'd expect the sugars in the lemon juice to add a negligible amount of calories. Is this related to that negative calorie food myth that's floating around?

You're making an assumption that regular water in some way burns fat.

it doesn't burn fat it helps cleanse/improve the digestive system, its basically what vegetables and other good fiber sources do for you

the acid doesn't eat away fat your stomach has a ph of 2.0 and lemon juice is a higher PH than that so its not going to eat through your fat or your insides or anything crazy like that

Lemon water has some calories so no. But it helps in the detoxification process AFAIK. From my understanding water helps to burn fat because of a sciency stuff what not (to burn fat you need a certain amout of water for fuel).
