Hi there,
I'm curious if DMAA and Geranium are the same thing, because I know I react negatively to DMAA (can't get it up after taking products like jack3d). More specifically, can somebody please look at the ingredients in NeuroCore (below) and tell me if anything here will give me the dreaded stim dick?

DMAA is a constituent of Geranium (although only one controversial study to date has actually found any DMAA in Geranium and the consensus seems to be that it is a chemical added to geranium products). It is also known as Geranamine (its patented name), 1,3 dimethylamylamine, 1,3 dimethylpentylamine, methylhyxamanime, forthane and others.
The reason it gives you erectile problems is because it is a "vasoconstrictor" (it constricts blood vessels). So it is having the opposite effect to that of "NO" (nitric oxide) booster products and the opposite effect of the infamous Viagra. Pretty ironic that the world's best-selling pre-workout product contains a vasoconstrictor!?!? Specifically, the combination of DMAA and caffeine was shown to increase blood pressure by about 20 per cent (presumably the result of constricted blood vessels). The whole point of NO pre-workout products is supposed to be to widen blood vessels, thus increasing blood flow and nutrient deliver to the muscles and have all of the other benefits of boosting NO, like increased testosterone, IGF-1, better insulin function, increase muscle torque, increased muscle fiber growth etc.
So if you are sensitive to DMAA, just go with a product that has caffeine and various ingredients that will increase your pump.
