    How close are your feet? You can start off by spreading them as far as possible to minimize rom. I've gotten good at this, It's not really a DL anymore though, it's more like a shrug while doing the splits.

    I remember core training being discussed in here a few pages back or so.

    On my phone so I can't do a search (plus I'm lazy) I know it's been discussed extensively. Can you guys give me cliffs on how to fix butt winking in squats and shooting hips on deads?

    I know it's generally, flexibility issue with butt winking and "start in a higher position" for shooting hips. Is that about all I can try?

    And just saying "flexibility" is kind of vague. It's tough to address the hip tuck when you don't know where you're lacking. Also, what is the degree of the hip tuck and how deep is it occurring? If you're going ATG then stop. If the degree of hip tuck is slight then it might be natural to your body.

    There are 1001 articles on this, though. Eric Cressey does have a book called Assess and Correct that allows you to assess where you're limited. It's a fantastic video/book.

    Low bar = less quads, more hammies, glutes generally. But then as you said, you can normally use more weight overall. I do low bar back squat 2x a week at the moment and then front squats 1 day. Figure this ticks most of the boxes.

    this. just listen to this before someone comes in and starts trying to argue minor details. both methods will hit the same muscles i just changes the percents slightly. use whatever you want but high bar tends to carry over to low bar better than low bar to high bar.
    You are not a fragile ornament ready to collapse into an exhausted mass of goo simply because you squatted more than once in a 7-day week.

    It'd be like preparing your entire life to bang 100 chicks in a row, getting tan, hitting the gym, making sure your hair looks right and reading the Kama Sutra, only to realize when you get there that you're gay and cannot get hard in the presence of women.

    I usually squat in my Adidas shoes (identical to Eric Lilliebridge's except I have red laces) but they're too dirty to wear into the gym because of the winter, so I've had to go back to my Lunars for the time being, which suck for squatting but I like them for front or SSB squatting. I used to squat barefoot but I abandon ship on that. I need new gym shoes badly. I was in the US and saw Adipure Trainers for $40 and didn't get them like an idiot. Big regret.

    this seems like the case for squats most of the time. The first time I ever hit 3 plates I showed it to a buddy and he said dude you easily had 3-4 reps there no way I let you stop after 1 if I'm there. It was grindy as **** when it was happening but looked smooth for some reason on video
