Legs tomorrow, and maybe begin my comeback on upper body (just going through a few motions). I am 4 weeks (almost 5) post shoulder/carpal tunnel surgery. Time to get back on the horse. Doc said do what I want as long as it doesn't hurt. I have some tightness, but no srs pain.

Doc attributes my recovery (he said 1 in a 1000 come back the way I have) to my conditioning prior to surgery. I feel god going forward.

Go slow and warm up well. Your muscle memory is better than most, so you will come back fast.

My therapist taught me some decent shoulder movements. Lots of high rep stuff (band work), but a few pretty tough ones.

I don't think anything will change for me in the short term because of the election. I'll keep working, paying taxes (maybe at a higher rate), and enjoying life. I'll spend less time arguing politics and more time complaining about Obama.

I plan on getting more involved with the legalization movement here in 2014. It didn't really get off the ground in 2012 because of lack of organization and money, but that will be different in two years.

My new girlfriend is moving in to my place in the next few weeks, so that will be a change. One that's completely unrelated to politics.

Good luck with the comeback. I'm getting ready for arm surgery myself on December 5. I'm hoping to be doing light exercises after 2 or 3 weeks, and lifting at full intensity by the 6 week point. I guess we'll see. I'm hoping to avoid losing too much strength this time.

If Obama had entered office and had made some cuts, and more careful with the taxpayers money on stimulus, and not funding all these green energy projects that fell on their face. If he had said "hey we will keep the gulf open for drilling, because we haven't gotten enough bugs worked out on putting in all these solar farms just yet, but it is coming" If he had made more decisions that allowed for transitional periods of energy independence then I would not be so critical of the man. He has no concept of what it takes to run a country/business/ socioeconomic behemoth the U.S.A has become. He has read alot of books but has never practiced under smaller circumstances. He was unfit to lead from day one.

1) i am going on a self imposed media ban. I am burnt out on news, plus i dont care what obama has to say. Srs, sports only

2) i am going to spend money like a drunken sailor, with out running ant debt up though. Figure we gonna be hosed soon enough, might as well enjoy.

3) im going to pick up some crown, to sip with my beers on the weekend
