Well to be fair at home my gym is a PL gym, so other than a very short stint at Plant Fitness, I havent had to be exposed to the cliche commercial gyms....and tbh PF sucks, but the 24 hours is extremely convenient. when I would go at like 11pm or later the place was dead and I could do whatever I wanted.xTUNAx CREW

Nice. I go to U of Iowa, which is notorious for some of the best tailgating parties.
My school's rec center is full of a lot of tards too. Meanwhile it also is home for Kyle Kenough (sp?) who is basically the #1 squatter for 148lbs in powerlifting lol. I've watched some of his videos taken at the rec center and he starts RAGING at people who walk in front of his filming.heh

i'm not sure how being a member of greek life makes anyone any less serious of a lifter, if anything i'd say we've got more athletes than the others
however just to add in my two cents we've only got 2 squat racks in my entire uni gym, seperated by about a barbell length plus a foot on each side. Today, while squatting, 2 bros decided to place a barbell in between them and start deadlifting, frantically interchanging weights in between sets and being idiots
we also have members of the 1/4 dip crew, like there was such a thing"Overtraining" - sponsoring fukarounditis & half a$sed workouts since 1991

wish my school had legit sports teams...ive never done a legit tailgate. and yeah Keough is nuts. I love him tho. my PL coach is friends with him IRL
depends on the school im sure but I think she was insinuating that a lot of frat guys are bro lifters. theres not really much greek life here so I cant comment irl...and that sucks about the close quarters in your gym. Luckily we have 4 squat racks here and no one really squats. I just take up the rack for hours on end....and lol @ 1/4 dips.

also, below is the reason I try to eat 5+ times a day. yesterday I missed a few meals so I had to play catch up at 11pm...result? insane bloat. so groce
