A lot of people don't understand that if you don't have a hunting season for certain animal populations, they would be completely out of control. Deer are one of those animals, it's important to hunt them for population control. It's getting so bad here in Missouri, that it's becoming normal for deer to run around in some of the cities in Southern Missouri. I saw some does running across the fourlane in the middle of Poplar Bluff Missouri the other day, miles from the nearest heavily wooded area.
Also, I've been in some of the biggest factories in the US for animal processing. I worked numerous jobs at Tyson Chicken, and good god, it takes everything I have just to eat chicken anymore. Those factories/plants are more inhuman than the guy out in the woods hunting.

^^This!!!^^ Idiots gon idiot though. These same *******s will cry when they smack a deer with their volvo or suburu forrester though. They don't even realize the amount of insurance claims/loss of life on the roads caused by overpopulation of an unchecked deer heard. Not to mention how quick disease can spread when you have too many. Fukn idiots.

I'm not sure where you're at RICHSTRONG, but some of the southern state hunters could confirm. The wild hogs here are a prime example, they are moving up from the south and they are way out of control. They're destroying the farmlands, rooting up all kinds of crops. Conservation here says you can kill them anytime during the year at anytime during the day with any weapon you'd like. Hogs tear up farms, farmers lose crops, low crops will equal higher costs/prices for corn, beans, etc, harder for struggling people to afford some food because prices are higher. It's a domino effect that show's there's more to it than just being a "jerk who hunts poor defenseless animals".

If most people got to see how their store bought meat was processed then they would understand how humane hunting actually is. A deer gets to live its life free and in the wild vs. a cow that is locked on a farm and force fed garbage food and hormones to fatten them up and sent to a slaughter house which is unbelievably stressful for the animal.
Looks like a good size deer, good job OP! Hunting here in Vermont is getting worse all the time, hoping for a larger deer population in the future!****Kneedraggers Unite****
