It was opened, but now it's sealed? Do you mean the lid was just on tight?

I would check the expiration date. If it's still within 6 months I would use it. Any longer than that I would just chuck it. I'm sure it's not as potent as it should be after that date.

    Thumbs up milk by product

nearly all protien powders are a milk by product.
which is dehydrat, when mixed in water see what it tastes like,if it's sour chuck it away,if not, well keep it.
it's like most foods these days, when the chemist get hold of it,it lasts for ever.
the only reason they have to put a use bye date on it,is because this is the law,(well in australia anyway)
next time you go into a supermarket have a look at a packet of salt, see if it has a use bye date on it,over here it does.
tell me when has salt ever gone out of date?
    maybe after 1000yrs!
but be carefull with milk as it can give you ****s!!!
550lb deadlift for 2reps,of the floor with straps.
    600lb leg press
    350lb bench.
    ohh memorys,
    to many injurys now!
