I have been mixing uncooked oatmeal and protein in a blender with water for about 3 years and within the last year i have been getting semi bloated after drinking these shakes. I did some research online and a bunch of ppl claimed that raw oatmeal has no nutritional value unless it has been cooked. They said it will leave u bloated and hold up your body from eating more for the rest of the day! Whats this about guys?

Riiight because adding normal water and heating it up makes the magical nutrients appear in oatmeal.

The oats are processed before they go out the door. So you can eat them uncooked, but its not exactly raw because they have been cooked already during processing.

The original statement about raw oatmeal having no nutritional value is absolute rubbish. Horses eat raw oatmeal and they don't keel over and die.
One thing about oatmeal, however, is that when it is cooked, or is left soaking in liquid, it EXPANDS. That could be why you are feeling bloated.***Irish Misc Crew***
