AC, have you always trained on a split, then?
What's your opinion about the recent fad of PLing-style programs many natty BBers are using these days?

eh i've toyed with a TON of different splits. ALWAYS end up going back the split i just posted.
and my opinion on the PL style programs are....THEY ARE FRIGGIN AWESOME! this off season i plan to do more heavy lifting and even keep track of percentages. maybe even run some west side or sheiko. i'm a big fan of alberto nunez and everything he does. lol no nuthug of course, but the dude is so legit and a real inspiration to me as a "smaller" natural bodybuilder.*WetBreast is gonna make it crew*

bad news had a weak moment in the diet today. first (and will be only) unplanned "splurge". Was feeling VERY depleted and ran down after this chest workout. had to go out to buy a new scale after my workout and i was SUPER light headed and just didn't feel good while i was at the store. Alls i could think about was that i needed some extra carbs because i felt sick. so i planned on going home and eating an extra 40g of carbohydrate from the source of my choice. ended up eating about 120 grams of carbs.
started off with some ben and jerrys fro-yo. ate one serving. was supposed to call it quits there (38 g of carb). but like i said had a weak moment, and i splurged. i ate 4 servings of SS/FF chocolate and cheesecake jello mixed with lactate milk after the ben and jerrys. Then added in a serving of FF grahm crackers. so on the day im 120g of carbs and about 6g of fat over what i need to be. It's definitely not the end of the world. but im not happy with myself either.
in other news, had a great spring break. back to school tomorrow. almost looking forward to get back in the "swing of things."
oh, and bought a new scale today. compared to my other scale, it's light by about .5 pounds. from here on out i will be weighing myself on this new scale.
back/bi tomorrow.*WetBreast is gonna make it crew*

I'm back!
=)
long story short,
obviously decided against doing both shows. No excuses to be honest, just didn't have my head in the game 100%. I didn't want to waste my time/money/effort in doing the shows if i wasn't in it 100% . It was a tough decision, but I decided to focus on school, work, and having a little fun.
all though i pulled out of both shows, I still hit the gym hard the past few months and kept up a clean diet and continued to get lean.
the reason why i'm starting this log back up is because i just got back from vacation and i caught the bodybuilding show bug again from looking through the results of all of the different contests the past few months. I always find myself going through the contest prep log section and reading page after page of everyones logs and it always lights a fire underneath my butt to do another show! The 3DMJ guys specially! To be honest i've thought about cheating myself and crossing over to the "dark side" a few times in the past, but one look through their material and I just about slap myself in the face for even thinking about it. I really do believe in a matter of a few years I can earn myself a pro card. SO ill do my best to use this log again as a tool to keep myself motivated and a way to assess my progress as time goes by. and hopefully have a couple of followers along the way. =)
anyways, heres a few pictures of me before i left for vacation 2 weeks ago...
time to get back at it!*WetBreast is gonna make it crew*
