D, why don't you just eat monster meals? If time/convenience with school is of concern, just eat fewer more calorie dense meals. Being an ecto you could just add some solid fat cals to your meals to up the cal count, no? You would burn that off and would at least keep, if not gain, the weight?

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now. Having a couple 1k cal shakes a day as well to make sure I'm hitting at least 3.5k cals as well. It's hard going to school, work nights, and lift while still having time to cook and sit down to eat. :/ I think my big thing is waking up at 10-11 after working nights, and then saying I'll wait til lunch to eat, and then not have lunch until 2, and then just grabbing something small before leaving to work at 8 and then not eating until 2 the next day. Need to fix that.

Yah man.. I did it for so long back when I was originally losing all the weight and it became routine. I was making meals for the week and it was all healthy and great (why I lost so much).. then once I was in the car accident and couldn't lift I got away from dieting. I am fiiiinally back to doing it.. the gf is helping to keep me motivated as well so I am hoping to go from 220 down to 180 by May 1

Anyone in this thread try a paleo diet? Been on it for about a week now and am enjoying it. Was 197 this morning, lightest I have been in over a year.

mine didn't look that good, but I went with a burger today as well. actually, I've been hitting Elevation Burger nearly every Saturday for the past four months. for a burger joint, the stuff is pretty good. all organic beef, never frozen, fresh ingredients. it's one of the few somewhat clean, cheat meals out there. three patty vertigo burger ftw.
any -x- brahs ever hit Elevation? it looks like they have locations in NJ, NY, PA, FL, TX.
edit:
pic is not my usual order. no cheese, no fries. the wife goes with those.

question for all of you.
for those with wives or steady girlfriends, do they share the same passion for exercise and clean eating as you?
my wife is the antithesis of me. never exercises, eats taco bell, chocolate, drinks full sugar red bulls by the pint, drink alcohol every night. btw, she's 5' 6" 108 lbs. for 41 yrs old, she's a genetic marvel. the key to her success....portion control. 5 or 6 bites and she's done.
thankfully, I'm a plain, hard headed, routine kind of guy. her lifestyle has zero effect on me. even with a house full of ice cream, sugary cereal, pizzas, burritos, I seem to fly right by it without a single urge. I have no idea how I do it.
does your significant other hurt or help your fitness goals?

My significant other might be the only person on earth who is capable of bulking at the same rate as me. I just put on 20lbs in 6 weeks. The only problem is that I actually lift and she doesnt do anything. She also has no concept of what it feels like the day after a contest and tried to drag me to a zoo after the last one when I could hardly get out of bed.
