Wink Already started p90x, should I switch to insanity or p90x2?

    Hey everyone,

I am a 14 year old teen, 5 ft 11 in, 150 pounds. (NOT OVERWEIGHT)

I am currently doing p90x and have been doing it for about 1 and a half weeks now, but I just read about insanity and p90x2. I was wondering if I should keep on doing p90x or switch to insanity or p90x2

I am looking to lose weight fast (under 3 weeks) but I will obviously keep on doing the program for the amount of days needed.

So, I was wondering, Should I switch from p90x to p90x2 or insanity. Which workout is the most intense and best for FAT LOSS? I am in a moderate state of fitness as I can handle p90x and probably p90x2, but insanity would be quite tough (but im determined and will push through it).

Which program would be best for quick fat loss even though I've started p90x?

    P90x (continuing)
    P90x2
    Insanity
IS THERE ANY OTHER PROGRAM YOU WOULD RECOMMEND FOR QUICK FAT LOSS?

    Thanks everyone!

Firstly, no program will make you lose fat.

And secondly, why the **** are you cutting @ 5'11" 150 lbs?

If you're 150, why do you need p90x if you're not "overweight".

P90x/x2 is for those who wish to gain muscle as well as losing weight sorta
insanity is pure cardio, so if you want to get stronger stay away from this, but you will lose weight with insanity, provided that you do it right.
I wish I was your weight. I'm trying to slim down to 170 and get muscle and then bulk if necessary.

I don't think some of you get it. I look legit fat. You can see a protruding stomach when I take off my shirt, when my shirt is on I look fine. Something with my metabolism makes me gain most of my fat around my waist and hips, so even though im not heavy, I look fat. My arms do look a little muscular and so do my legs and back. They look fine. It's just the front look that is large for some reason.

Don't have time for the gym. Dad's doctor and moms teacher so they can't take me and I'm at school from 8 to 8 everyday xcept saturday and sunday. Saturday im at school from 8-12 and sunday I volunteer at the hospital from 12-5. Also, my family has many get togethers so I squeeze p90x in when I have free time at my dorm in my high school.

Im not looking for the numbers. Im happy with what I have in that aspect. I just want the toned abs look. Arms, legs, back are fine. Just something is metabolically weird with my abs so all the fat in my body collects there.

Family genes. It pisses the **** outta me that I have to go to so much work because of damn genes. but what can I do about it xcept try? My heredity is the reason of this as both my parent's sides are at minimum overweight, if not obese and my dad's side is filled with diabetes. My dad was fat and mom too, but the both have cut down over a few years. But their still visibly fat. When I have a shirt on I look fine. Actually, I look skinny. but Im trying my best as I used to be bigger. THE P90x has been working as over 1/ 1 and a half weeks I have lost about 3-5 pounds. Look smaller than I used to and dropped from a 34 pant size to 30/32. But I still want less.

As I said before, I dont have time. I can even take pics of the scale if u want. but why would I lie on a website when I'm talking to people I don't know. It's a forum. My self-confidence isn't that low.My weight is now fluctuating from 145-148 after about 1 and a half weeks of p90x.

Try and join a gym, or if your school has weight room use it. Do SS to build some muscle under that fat. Muscle will help "burn" calories. Run some, bike, whatever when it gets warmer.

Angry Seems like no one can answer the damn question

Ok everyone, Thanks for your input. But I don't have any use of people saying "How are you that fat?" or , "Why do you even want to" or something useless like that. I am trying. I'm not being a lazy fat*** and never have been. I am good at sports and my endurance is average. It's the damn look I wanna get rid of. I just want to know which program is best for fat loss, p90x, p90x2, or insanity as I have already started p90x. You saying "WOW Your fat" is not helping me lose weight any faster or be any more self confident

    What a load of hyperbole.

No program is best for fat loss. No program will make you lose weight, a calorie deficit will.

Well i have been eating about 300-500 calories less than what I normally do. And yes, I am sure that P90x/insanity do help lose fat. Its not like the people who did it were all suddenly fit and just used it to gain muscle. The majority used it to lose fat and trust me it works.

p90x won't help you lose fat beyond remaining in a calorie deficit.
